The school is great! The staff has been super friendly and helpful since we moved to the area. My daughter was super nervous about changing schools and coming here for her 4th & 5th grade year but she quickly fell in love with it and it is way better than her last school, Overall Creek The teachers do a great job teaching outside of the box, they always listen to the students, and the administration has been great as well!

Terrible experience for myself and my children. I gave this school two chances. My child started out there in Kindergarten and then transferred to another school. Unfortunately, where we purchased our home was zoned to BCE and my child had to return. I was sick over this as the wrong elementary school was listed when we purchased our home. If I had known this I would have built my home in another area. That’s how much I dislike this school. I wish someone could observe drop off in the rear of the school in the mornings and compare it to the other schools in the area. It’s sad how this isn’t a caring school.

We moved from Metro Nashville to BCE in the middle of 4th grade. My child is a different child, truly thriving at this school. I am unsure which office ladies were supposedly rude, but we visited unannounced before moving and the ladies were incredibly kind (and continue to be). My child was adamant that he go to school there after seeing it (luckily I was able to purchase a house zoned for it). He has had incredible teachers and I have felt so welcome by teachers, art and music teachers, principals, SRO, office staff, lunch staff, librarians. They are kind and caring people at every level, and go the extra mile often. The teachers have made learning fun and exciting. Terrific experience, and sad to be leaving next year.

The teachers, staff, SRO, and principals are all great at this school. The teachers all seem to be very dedicated to teaching the children and are caring toward to each student. The Principal truly cares for her students and has the respect of the students and their parents. She runs a tight ship and still manges to make school fun. Our child has had a very positive experience at BCE and we will miss them when he moves on to middle school.

I would have given this school a five star rating if based on teachers and quality of grounds however the principal is a different story. I am sure she is great if you don't have a child in the same grade as her own granddaughter. For our kindergarten experience I had to explain to my child why the principals granddaughter was the only child with two separate parts in the play and named twice in the program given out at the door. Now every year her and same group of friends somehow manage to get in the same class together. Today, the first day of school and low and behold there all together again. Its a shame the favoritism shown and no one will say a word. But who would to the principal. Other than being totally bias of family the school is great. We have liked all the teacher we have had very much and even a couple of them have seen exactly what I am referring to. And it is a very nice and clean school.

My girls have attended this school from K & 1st then came back in 3rd now in 4th grade. After attending m'boro city school we were all to happy to come back to BCE. The teachers are wonderful, Principal is amazing and the school is clean. I wouldn't have my daughters anywhere else.

After having a bad experience at a Murfreesboro school in kindergarten Cayden has really changed he is much happier Brown's Chapel is wonderful

Brown's Chapel is a great school and stays clean. I appreciate the communication that the staff has with the parents. I have 3 children in the school and haven't had too many issues in regards to the education. I really love Rutherford County Schools as a whole. Cant think of much to complain about.

All of the teachers are amazing and the school is really clean. The women in the front office however our really rude. I have never seen such a thing!

My children had the privilege of attending BC for kindergarten & 1st grade. There were many opportunities for parent involvement, immediate responses from teaches via email and great school spirit - Go Bucks! At the end of the kindergarten school year a 2 inch binder was sent home full of pictures and special projects completed throughout the year- specific to my childs class. First grade was a disc full of pictures with the highlights of their class set to music. We will cherish these always. Also during kindergarten, there was a production put together where costumes were made and the kindergarten class performed various nursery rhymes. It was AMAZING and a wonderful opportunity for my children to perform in front of a large group. Besides all of that, my children learned so much. I was pleasantly surprised with some of the things being taught. Fractions and geometry in 1st grade??! Also in the classroom a color code system is used to help the children understand consequences of choices made. Excellent school!! Sadly, we moved out of state, so my children won't be attending BC for 2013/14 school year, but we are so happy that our children experienced Browns Chapel!
