No support for parents with kids who attend special education. My child has been in IEP for years, even attending an IEP preschool, he has all the paperwork to show for it yet had to get reevaluated for IEP for some reason, which takes 3 months. Which means for 3 months he was not receiving the education needed for him to succeed. Even though he was in IEP just months before starting this school. There is no bus for students with special education as I was told there was when I first signed him up for school. The principal calls and has no sympathy for the situation as I told him my child hasn’t received the correct education from Aug-Nov and explained how I was told there was a bus for special education. All I got was “okay. Well there’s not. So did u want to continue with dis enrolling him?” As if there isn’t a care in the world for my child’s education. I got told before signing him up this is not a school that has support for children with special education and I now see that. This is not a school that makes you feel like your child is important nor wanted at the school. The principal has no compassion for how I got bounced around, stalled, and lied to. It’s a mess. Had to take my child out of school due to misinformation. Didn’t receive an apology for the misinformation or any type of support. They do not care.

I have had nothing but good experiences with the teachers here. It's obvious that they are working hard to give our kids they best they can. If you look at the test scores on Greatschools it's easy to see that the kids have been making some good improvements. The lowest test score is in reading and that is something that all parents should be helping their with kids at home. I make my kids read every day and so I know they are reading above other kids their age.I would still love to see the building itself get some improvements, but the teachers make up for it. I don't think the playground has changed since I went here. Some people complain about the busing, but it is a small district. Everything is completely walkable.

Great teachers and staff! Really challenged my children and I felt they were prepared for middle school. Inviting and safe environment for students.

The teachers from 2nd-4th grade are the best!! first and second are questionable. School has been through 4 Principles in my kids 7 years of the school. so no consistancy there.
