It is a really good school but some things I don't like about this school is the dress code and learning religion when you don't know anything about it.

This school needs to be shut down. There is no air conditioning, we come home sweating profusely. The teachers care about stupid things rather than teaching. For example, the dress code I wore a sweatshirt in to one of the teachers, (it was freezing) the teacher told me to take it off. I told him i was freezing. He gave me a Saturday School. It took 1/2 of the class to fill out the paper to give me a Saturday School. We didn't do anything that day. Nevertheless this school stinks (you are not allowed to say sucks). Oh and the bullying, it is the dumbest thing ever. My sister and I both got in trouble for bullying just for being sarcastic.-a helpless student

This school teaches that wealth is more important than kindness and that is the reason I will be unenrolling my children. The "bullying" policy is a joke, if the childs parents are high up in the school board or they donate alot of money, they child can do no wrong. None can tell me name doesn't matter, because it does at Sacred Heart. Do not send your children here until the principal is fired and the morals of the school are based on kindness and love & not money and status !!!

Wonderful school. It is a tuition based program. They would thrive if there was a voucher based system. Even if the vouchers were $2000 or $3000, well below their tuition, people would make the change.The tuition does keep the poor and most problems out of the school.

Sacred Heart Academy is the epitome of excellence in the mid-Michigan area. An excellent school in academics, athletics, and the arts, let alone the faith-based curriculum, I would recommend Sacred Heart to nearly anyone. Yes, some of the rules in the handbook may seem somewhat peculiar, but the bottom-line is that this institution is not for students with chronic patterns of misbehavior. The public school is for students of that kind. Many university professors and the like (many of whom are most certainly non-Catholic) send their kids to Sacred Heart solely for its academic merit, and I can't blame them at all.

This school is going in the absolute wrong direction. I sent my kids here since elementary and they loved it until recently. The rules are absolutely ridiculous, if you are seen with a cellphone in between classes it will be confiscated and you will be forced to attend a Saturday school for 3 hours on the weekend. If you are seen wearing patch pockets instead of non patch pockets you will also be given a Saturday school. (Yes this is a real thing!) they are too obsessed with cracking down on all of their absurd rules that the education aspect is seriously lacking. Teachers there do not enjoy their jobs and it sets the tone of the atmosphere. Instead of focusing on their education students will instead be fearful of "what could I possibly be written up for today" the principal is more concerned with petty dress code violations than serious issues. This school does NOT prepare them for college. College is about freedom and and you are given ZERO freedom at this school, it is comparable to a prison. It does not teach anything about how to handle your responsibilities as an adult in the working world, it is only about obeying an extremely ridiculous of very intricate rules. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE. The direction the school is going towards is absolutely terrible which is why I will be dis enrolling my children. Do not reccomend.

I feel that this school fails on all levels to teach the student core values that people in today's society need to be taught. As a parent of this school I feel that teaching the students to be discriminatory towards another group of people is unacceptable, run as far away from this school as you can!
