I am saddened and disappointed in this school, my alma mater. The teachers only want to get PAID, while the students continue to suffer. Enough is enough. Good students are not encouraged to continue, but are lead like lams to the slaughter...to bullies. Sad. I'm ashamed to say that I ever attended.

The teachers in this school does NOT care about the kids education, emotional state or anything else that has to do with the kids. They talk about the kids to other teachers as the kids sit and listen. There has been incidents that teachers has pushed and even hit a child with a ball. They have also let a child get out of the school through the front door and get out on the highway walking home. Amongst other things. This school needs to be shut down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meridian has some fantastic kids with very bright futures. My greatest concern, however is the relatively high percentage of students who do not seem to care about their education whatsoever. It is very hard to motivate kids who don't care and don't receive the support at home that they need to be successful. We have some fantastic teachers who pour their heart and soul into teaching these youngsters and Meridian has the potential to be a very high perfoming school. But the teachers and staff can't do it alone.
