My child absolutely loves this school, it's teachers and the support staff. One teacher in particular won my kid over completely. Last year was her first year at the school but she was beyond awesome w the kids. Her name is Katelynn and I just want to say job well done to her.

This is a terrible school bullying by the staff and kids. Questions about learning get ignored. My son did not understand a problem raised his hand for help and was told to put his hand down. What kinda teacher does that spoke with the principal about it and nothing was done about it

Unfortunately it is my child's first year of public school and his experience has been one where it makes you question the teachers. To start off my child was lost and unknown where he was when questioned, when he was supposed to be placed by a teacher on a bus. Later on another note another child seemed to have placed a bead in his ear and when he told the teacher she brushed his complaint off. I called to set up an appointment for the second time. I was redirected to his vice principal and spilled out my concerns with her. She then chose to inform to teacher who later that day scolded my child for telling on her. I am over the nonsense and I do not recommend this school to anybody. I send my kids to a place I can't trust .....and that's sad

my children have now attended Cox 4 years and I must say they love the school, staff and teachers as do I I've never had a problem with anything at this school. the teachers take the time to communicate with the parents about their children's progress, they're awesome when it comes to explaining what they have planned for the kids and keeping them on point when it comes to testing. also the school from what I've seen is always kept clean and orderly for the children and staff I love Cox elementary and that's why they get 5 stars from me
