Teachers are mostly OK, although there doesn't seem to be any History taught. Most teachers focus on English, Math and Science and everything else treated as 2nd tier, even religion.

SVA has inspired multiple students by showing each and every student the Catholic morals and values. These are always shown in this school every day. SVA is especially lucky to have such wonderful teachers. The students are always learning new topics, and increasing their vocabulary. Each teacher has their unique teaching style which is demonstrated in the students daily, catholic lives.

I have been attending Saint Virgil Academy for four years now, and I have grown to be a true catholic. Saint Virgil is a safe, faithful, environment. I am excited that I would be a graduate from Saint Virgil Academy this year!

I have two children that attend SVA. It is a small and very safe school. The whole school is very friendly, even the upper grades with the lower grades. There is immense parent involvement here that just makes it feel so family friendly. My children thrive here with the small class sizes. it's just something that you can't get at a big public school. Children should be able to feel safe and appreciated and this is definitely something that we have learn to love about SVA.

I have had 2 children complete their elementary school education here, and have my youngest in the lower grades. All have received an excellent education. The school focuses on developing critical thinking, as well as fostering strong faith, leadership and a sense of community.The amount of nurturing and support that my children have received since pre-k has been phenomenal. My 2 older children had a smooth transition from elementary school to high school, and are excelling socially, academically and athletically.St. Virgil Academy consistently produces graduates that continue to excel and achieve from childhood through adulthood. The relationships developed with classmates and teachers last well beyond their years at the school.

My children attended Saint Virgil from preschool until graduation/8th grade. After graduating from Saint Virgil, they all were accepted into excellent area private high schools. Now with some still in high school & the others accepted & excelling in top tier colleges, I can only point to the excellent education/foundation they received at this loving, nurturing parochial elementary school.

My son has attended St. Virgil since he was 3 years old. He has developed beautiful friends and love for learning. He partakes in sports and academic after school activities. I feel very safe knowing that he is at this school. The communication is very open and honest. The teachers all care about his future and provide me with routine feedback.

SVA is a place where the students are happy, nurtured, and educated to achieve their potential. The staff is caring and knowledgeable about content. Everyone who is here loves it.

My second boy just graduated from St. Virgil's Academy. In my opinion Both boys received an outstanding grade and middle school education. The school gives a very community feel for the parents. We're very happy with our 11+ year experience (PreK also).

St. Virgil's is a wonderful option for children pk3 8, providing a very relevant education. Children benefit from a small community where everyone knows them and cares about their academic success as well as their moral character. The opportunities available to the children are something remarkable, considering the small size. They can play on sports teams each season, participate in many clubs including debate, chess, scouts, and join the band and musical productions. Since the school is small, all the kids have a big role and feel important and grow confidence. The children consistently score high on standardized tests, and their curriculum is rich, especially now with the introduction to S.T.E.M. (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) programming and iPads for 8th graders. The school embraces technology and parents can review their student s progress and homework assignments on line. Another extra special characteristic of the school is the active involvement of parents. Parents can choose to have a reduced tuition for 40 hours of volunteer work, but many parents choose not to have the deduction and still volunteer. Wonderful school and great kids.

I love St. Virgil's because not only do the children receive an excellent academic education but they also receive an education in caring. The school emphasizes that the true worth of a person is not only what they know academically but how they interact & care for the rest of humanity. SVA epitomizes on a local level the ideology of Care2 not only in an ideologic manner but in an demonstrable one as well.
