Im deaf parent, there’s no communication access for the staff to write back n forth or requesting asl interpreter for meeting, principal meeting, parent conference or general relate to education for my child. They never call or make an officially appt not even a letter for any meeting. Principal was never in the office, lack of communication with teachers,staffs,counseling,principal in landmark. I think Riverside district are better than Moreno Valley district and school. For deaf community Best to check in Riverside school than Moreno Valley.

This school is a bullies playground. The administration is aware and just does absolutely nothing about it until it’s too late. Even then, they minimize what actually happens and does a horrible job at responding appropriately when they have knowledge prior to an incident or attack takes place. It’s sad that you can’t trust anyone with your kids. Not even administrators who are trained and educated in the field that they occupy employment within. See my lengthy review on Google.

This school is definitely an experience not a good one though the food here has made me sick multiple times and the water tasted even worse the people here made me feel like I wouldn't be able to go anywhere I was scared to go anywhere alone since this school is full of drugs and other inappropriate discussions

Your kids would be better off at another school. This school is nothing but problems. Can't wait to leave and never come back.

With my daughter's disabilities, she has only passed 2 classes these 3 years. Staff tells the students they can get F's in all classes and they'd still be able to pass. *As Long As They Remain A Registered Student. Guess, they are just their Cash Cows!

In response to one of the comments below...The school does not have an inside gym, but it is rare to find that in a middle school. There is a large multi-purpose room that is used when there is bad weather. My understanding though is that the bond passed by the community this year will actually build one soon. The bond is also supposed to build new modernized science labs. All of the information about the bond is on the school's website. I have known the school's PE teachers for years and they are actually very good about not having the students do any strenuous activity when the temperature goes into the 90s. To do otherwise would be against the law. The school does offer some sports through the free after school program called "Think Together." They actually have teams that compete with other local schools. I would be careful to make broad racial statements without having all of the facts. The school is a diverse one, but when you spend time on campus, you can easily see that they get along well and the school has a very positive vibe about it.

Landmark Middle School is a wonderful institution that has great teachers, great programs, and a strong college-going culture. It is the recipient of the nationally recognized "Schools to Watch" distinction and the recipient of the Riverside County "Models of Excellence" award.

I love Dr. Dudek, the principal of Landmark. She helped my child with her schedule and took care of a concern I had with another student. My daughter also has some great teachers. She especially loves the band director, Mr. Weeks. I was there last year when the school received the Schools to Watch award and all of the students were so well behaved and proud of their school.

This school has no inside gym which hello we live in the valley where temps soar to 100 degrees, no sports activities for kids to get into, and staff is the worst . I'm sorry I'm a very positive person my son has received good grades and even an academic excellence award. However he gets referrals for defending himself against rowdy kids. May I say there are many rowdy and disorderly kids screaming and acting ridiculous when I've picked him up from school. There are definitely racial issues in this school. It seems as though Hispanics get the short end of the stick at landmark.

I love landmark they have great teachers teaching and activities.l go to landmark and I am doing great. I understand my teachers the are the best teachers I ever had. They teach with very good explanations. They also have awesome clubs. I love there exploratory classes. Our principal is the best. He is a great leader. They do have challenging academics. This school is helping me great smarter and have great responsibility with our grades. I am doing better in middle school than I did I elementary. Have landmark to thank for that.
