This school has completely shredded every ounce of motivation I had to graduate. I love to learn, and engage with my teachers. I enjoy being challenged and growing my skills in all areas, especially in math.I’ve been to around 8 schools in my life, and a total of 3 high schools. Bayside Community Day School has been the most stressful, unorganized, unhappy school I’ve ever been to. I was unable to get any sort of response from the staff in regards to transferring from this school, and when I eventually did, they messed up multiple times, either by misplacing my paperwork, telling me I never signed any paperwork in the first place (I have witnesses), or straight up ignoring all my emails after telling me to email someone to “start to process”. I’ve tried reaching out to every email, phone number, etc that I could find on the websites. On the days I was able to go to school, I was told they couldn’t help me and that I needed to go back and send another email to the person who never respeonded to me. The only reason they responded to me this time was because I spammed the principals email, and she eventually told me “oh, you should have made the effort to reach out sooner we would’ve included you” despite evidentially reaching out via email multiple times and not getting a response for months. I was told before winter break that “on January 9th, we’re gonna get you situated so you can start MVOA (the school I was supposed to transfer to).” On the 9th, they called me and told me I “made a mistake by not signing paperwork” and now I have to sign paperwork. Again. To wait another month. Again.How am I supposed to know they aren’t gonna make the exact same mistake next month? Because, again, I have emails to show that they gave me MULTIPLE start dates all the way back to September of 2022, but every single time they either told me I wouldn’t be transferred, that I didn’t turn in the stuff that I have WITNESSES that saw me turn everything in BEFORE THE DUE DATE, or they just refused to respond to any of my emails at all.This is coming from a student who has 8 credits, has had 8 credits for months, and was supposed to graduate months ago, but ultimately couldn’t on top of the mess of the schools mistakes for transferring me. This school is an absolute train wreck, and I feel awful for everyone who has to attend it. Most of the teachers who were very kind are gonna be retiring this year. Good luck to any new students.

Enjoyed every bit there of my junior senior year. Helpful staff, graduated early because of each one of them.
