I regret sending my child to this school. It is a student community of theft, drugs, vandalism, prejudice, and profanity. Although some teachers are excellent, I've seen several bullying teachers! The school is way too old, falling apart, and I saw mold on the ceiling of the cafeteria one day (don't know if it's still there) Also I have a physical condition in which my son needs to stay home with me sometimes, and since MHS got its new principal there is no sensitivity and understanding towards absences. As the parent of a senior, I don't reccomend this school to any fellow parent!

Moorefield isn't the best school in the world. Not all the teachers like their jobs, and as students, we see that. We have scheduling problems. Seniors that have classes setting them up for failure; and when they try to get that changed, theres nothing they can do for them. The school itself isn't what you would expect. Sometimes the heat doesn't work, we sometimes don't have AC. Our board does nothing of this. We are treated as prisoners with the whole new referral system. I honestly think students don't feel comfortable there. With teachers that insult you and call you worthless? That is no place for a child. Getting on the sports topic, it isn't as bad as years passed, and it was the only thing that made school enjoyable.
