Moody High School is a joke. I’m thinking about moving and taking them out of this school system. The principle believe whatever a teacher tells him and doesn’t listen to the children. My child was kicked out of the Coronation ball Saturday because they rather assume something that stead of listening to the truth. But it’s ok because I have a lawyer on stand by and fox 6 gone hear about this. I bet y’all listen then.

My son is in the 9th grade and new to the state. We were both apprehensive in this new journey. The teachers and administrators have been very helpful in making sure that my son's experience is a positive one and that he is integrated in the learning and social culture. We have just concluded his first semester as a 9th grader and he has a 3.71 GPA. The teachers know me! I am very active! I love this school and would recommend to anyone!

My daughter's home room teacher has been throwing away her excuses. Now we have to go to court for truancy. The office staff is rude and many of the teachers are a joke. My daughter who usually makes all A's and a B in math is now struggling. We will be pulling her next year and putting her in Oak Mountain. Good riddance, MHS.

Moody High School seems to be really headed toward great things currently. The current leadership seems passionate about driving excellence and should continue to promote strong educational opportunities for the students. Additions in recent years, such as a strong AP offering, should continue to be expanded.

I attended this school. Over the years I noticed how the better teachers were either let go for idiotic reasons or they left because they could get a more competitive salary at a better school. Football was a main focus as was religion. Students were treated very rudely by other student for not attending religious groups or not agreeing with Replublican ideals. Most of my senior year was spent watching movies. Also the school was not accredited, I am told it is now. Because of this I was denied at several colleges and universities. It is all about who you know at this school. Bullies and trouble makers are very rarely punished because administrators "have known them for most of their lives, and they are not that kind of kid." The councelor never encouraged anyone to higher education. Most of the time the materials sit on a shell and are a come and get them kind of deal. Honestly, I learned more in my first year of college than the entire 4 at MHS. I would not recommend this school to anyone.
