Pinewood is a great place to be. I appreciate the extra reading support my two youngest receive through the Reading Specialist. The staff really focuses on each child's needs. I am impressed with the projects my 5th graders dose in technology too.

We moved to Monticello before we had children because we loved our house. If we had to do it all over, again, we'd move to Monticello because of the schools. Pinewood IS the Friendliest School in the Nation! It's amazing to walk down the hallways and see the kids and entire staff smiling. It's a great place to be! The teachers challenge the students and are continually incorporating the use of technology in their classrooms. The resources and extra programs provided for all students are incredible. We love Monticello Schools!

Love Pinewood, my son transfered here from another school in 2nd grade and the teachers he has had are wonderful, helpful & caring. Glad we made the move.

Loved all my child's teachers at Pinewood, they were all amazing and with different personalities and different approaches to my child.

SO happy to see the school rating is moving up. Pinewood is a great school full of wonderful people! The previous rating was misleading. Pinewood is a great place to learn and grow.

My son is in the all day every day kindergarten here with Mrs. Paustian and I cannot say enough good things about his teacher, the speech teacher and how they have tried to help him (above and beyond the norm). I AM disappointed (very diappointed) to see this 4 star rating (was 8 stars last year) and that the rating seems to be due to low test scores. THAT is discouraging and I would hope that the 2010 test scores are much better.
