This school lacks discipline. My son comes home daily talking about how he gets bullied. He absolutely hates this school. I’ve taught my son to not judge people by the color of their skin, but yet he gets judged daily and the school seems not to care.

Monticello is the most wonderful place to live, but the schools are unsafe at any grade with no responsibility taken from the schools or the school board. The School board also refuses to test children with learning disabilities, nor do they follow the Florida Board as well as the US Board of Education that demands the opportunity for children to have access to better education in other districts or even safe education. The schools are full of harassment to the minority children and the excuse that allows the bullying and harassment is that they can't control everything that happens in school. The schools are full of ill-equipped teachers which might give excuse for their behavior but the School Board and the Superintendant have too much pride to really care about each child's education that makes up their district. Like my initial response- Monticello is a wonderful place to live- as long as you don't have school aged children.
