Very good! Purchased our home in the area due to schools reputation.

This school environment lacks ethics, collaboration and most importantly professionalism. As a professional myself by no means should a child be harassed or at any point feel discouraged in an education setting. I am appalled with all these negative experiences. Parents, if you see no support from administrators take it to the nest level. TEA is there as an option and you need to report any wrong doing immediately. Theses people do not belong in a school environment!

My husband and I have four children who've all attended MISD schools--MHS, MJHS, the intermediate, the middle school, SCE for one year (before MRE was built), and now our youngest attends MRE. Each of those schools was great, but MRE has been the best so far. I'm surprised to see a few negative comments on here about administrators. I know no one is perfect, but the entire staff at MRE has always been kind and patient with my kids, even if they were in trouble! (Yes, that happened a few times.) The staff encourages the students to have excellent character and to "fill buckets". It isn't just about academics (although the testing scores for MRE are high); there is a great focus on integrity and kindness, and they also teach the kids to have grit and to work through disappointments. I feel like the administrators model this in their own behavior. Because of my husband's line of work, we've moved 17 times in 25 years of marriage, and MRE is the best school my kids have attended. We've stayed here longer than we've lived anywhere because we want our daughter at MRE.

MRE is a great school where all teachers are involved in the success of their students at each grade level. There are a variety of programs to expand the students thinking and the entire team cares about their students.

We love MRE! The teachers and staff are wonderful. My daughter started at MRE last year and I have watched her improve in every aspect of learning.

I cannot say enough about MRE... My husband I specifically purchased property to build a home zoned to this district and elementary. The staff, administrators, and teachers are always welcoming, helpful, and genuinely care for our students and families. The atmosphere at the school to the education my two children are receiving has more than surpassed my expectations. Keep up the good work MRE! Your commitment to our kiddos, families and community does not go unnoticed. I have families that specifically ask to see homes zoned to MRE to be a part of this special place!

MRE is a fabulous place for my kids to go to school. I love that everyone feels like a close knit family. They truly have the best interest of the kids at heart. I love that the office staff knows my kids and my family by a first name basis. The fact that they can remember each family and be so friendly is very comforting.

First and foremost, upon enter the school, a parent is greeted by the kindest and friendliest example of a human being, the receptionist, Ms. Karla Culpepper. Her delightful attitude sets the tone for the remainder of the tour of the school. The remainder of the front office staff are a pleasant team of ladies who have their student's best interests as first priority in their day to day operations. I have not had the privilege of meeting and interacting with many of the teachers, but of those few I do know, I would have to remain adamant in saying MRE is by far the best school, hands down, for my loves to attend. Thank you to the MRE staff for maintaining a superb facility.

The teachers at Madeley Ranch are dedicated and truly love our children. The sense of safety, enrichment and community is one I have not found anywhere else.

My daughter attended this school from kindergarten through fourth grade. She loved being at MRE. The she had awesome teachers every year! They do so many fun things for the kids all year long. I love that the focus is on learning and not on passing a test. She loved getting to do E-Tracks and project based learning.

I have had children in this school for six years and have loved every minute of it. They have had nothing but wonderful teachers, and look forward to going to school every day. I can't imagine taking my kids anywhere else.

I have to agree with MRE's turning a blind eye to "no child left behind." They care more about raising money than the welfare of the children. Please stop calling them "kiddos." It's a cute little catchphrase, but it doesn't gloss over your disregard for what is really important -- our children. Before school even started this year, I received a letter requesting that each student bring in 50 box tops on the first day of school to get a free cone or something. It never ends.

My child was one was just one in a crowd it's too bad they did not see what he had to offer. Now in a Gifted school in Houston, at Madeley he was labeled "immature". Even after discussing with teacher and counselor there was no effort to try to work with my child. They truly had no idea he was gifted because he was labeled and not a favorite. Don't bother attending this school if you don't play the favoritism game.

The school itself is safe and clean and surrounded by good families so it looks great on the outside. It is sad to say that this school among so many others is here to herd children through and take your money doing so. I was personally let down by the Principal, Vice-Principle, counselor and teacher. When I approached them with some results I found out about my student I was almost shunned. They made sure they let me know they knew more than me. Even guarded with results from a nationally recognized test they let me know their kids were "smart" to and would not help accommodate a bored child. There are a handful of great teachers at this school unfortunately the ones running it and their click of teachers make it a hit or miss school. Your kid will learn here but only what the state test requires nothing more. They are concerned about looking good on paper not helping students on their level individually.

This is one awesome well-rounded school. Excellent Teachers, Strong Leadership, Great lesson plans, and very involved families of the students along with very supportive staff! The minute you step into MRE...you feel at home! Always greeted with warm smiles & caring attitudes ;-)
