I have one child at Monroe Academy preschool k3, and we truly have enjoyed and loved the progam. We moved from out of state, and everyone welcomed him and made his transition very smooth. He always comes home teaching us new and exciting things. I am a teacher in the public school system in monroe county and want to comment on the race issue for others reading these reviews. My child has experienced both enviorments and has never commented or questioned race. I believe that is something that comes from home. As parents, we influence our children to see people by their actions instead of their color. Even though my son is still young, he has never categorized anyone by their skin only their attitude. I hope other parents will not judge an educational setting by the makeup of race but by the quality of the education recieved.

i have 4 children at Monroe Academy (Junior,8th grade,2nd and K-5) and they absolutely love it there as well as me and my husband. The fact that there is only one group of race concerns me because when they go off to college, they will have to study with different races and i feel like we arent preparing them for the college life and/as or work life. All in All MA is great for excelling in the social, christian, and academic acheivement. If you move into this part of Alabama send them to MA! Lol
