Devoted staff and parents. Warm atmosphere and a very safe environment where students can learn and participate in a multitude of activities and classes in a wide range of subjects.

River Oaks school is what every parent wants for their child. It is amazing how much more my children have learned after coming from another local private school. River Oaks mission statement is to strive for excellence in academics, the arts and athletics and it is overwhelmingly apparent that this school is a leader in excellence.

River Oaks is a great school - my son attended PK4 & is there for Kindergarten. The teachers are great & keep you informed regularly on your child's performance. Many activities for the kids to attend & he always loves going to school. Loves his teachers, he looks forward to going to school.

River Oaks is one of the greatest schools I have ever come in contact with. They uphold the highest standards and envelope the children in a positive, motivated learning environment. Walking the halls, you can see the children greatly enjoying their learning experience. I find it interesting that one of these reviews accuses a parent of manipulating the administration into firing a teacher. Familiar with the situation myself, I can honestly say that this supposed "injustice" would never occur at this school. The River Oaks staff is one big family and a teacher would never be dismissed for proper effectiveness. This school constantly takes into account the well-being of every child and to suggest otherwise is a serious misrepresentation.

Like many private schools, River Oaks allows money to dominate the interest of all aspects of this educational institution, even at the children's expense. An incredible teacher was recently fired with no notice and no concrete proof of her ineffectiveness as a teacher. On the contrary, she was loved by her students and all signs of teacher performance were positive. Because one parent had an issue (which was resolved), the students in this teacher's class are deprived of a an effective, caring educator. Such an injustice. This particular parent, needless to say, had enough financial pull to manipulate an administration into letting a teacher go who would have continued to be an excellent asset to this school. River Oaks administration must make changes in order to fall into the category of an excellent educational institution, one that puts the children's needs first.

We moved our high school student to River Oaks this July. After experiencing the environment we decided to moved our 4th grader to River Oaks in October. The academic level that is 'expected' from our children challenged them to 'expect' better from themselves. The opportunities available for every student allows them to thrive as an individual giving them confidence to succeed on every level. The parental support is UNBELIEVEABLE - exactly what public school is missing, ITS ALL ABOUT THE KIDS. We are so grateful to be part of this school, our only regret, we waited so long to do it.
