The Majority of the teachers here are absolutely wonderful. Mrs. Machado, Mrs. Iwase, Mrs. Masterman, Mrs. Cowell, and Mrs. Pucizna come to mind. Then there is the occasional awful teacher and the principal will go out of her way to support every awful thing the teacher does and will also refuse to move your child to another classroom. How a principal can support a teacher that refuses to let a 7 year-old use the bathroom ever is beyond me. There has been a major staff change in the last year and an implementation of military style rules. Most of Wilson's students are now miserable and the once loved afterschool program is now a dreaded extension of overtly ridiculous rules set by staff that don't seem to like children at all. Bullying is a massive issue at this school, both happening on the playground in front of yard duties and within classrooms, yet staff seems completely oblivious to its happening. When it is brought to Mrs. Mchanns attention, she pulls all the kids together, victim and bullies alike and questions whether or not they had commited said bullying such as hitting, taunting, destruction of property. When the bullies then lie about what they did, the principal insists they did nothing wrong and the cycle of violence continues. Not only that, but Mrs. Mchann will threaten to expel your kids and forbid you from going onto the school campus all so she does not have to deal with resolving the issue of bullying. She could care less about 7 year olds that are being hit and victimized by whole groups of children. If a new principal were to be assigned to Wilson, I believe it would be an amazing school.

Worst school ever, worst principal and 1st grade teacher of all times. The heater in class room has not been working for almost one week now, it's the middle of winter now. If you care or love your kids do not let them go to Wilson, by far the worst school in the valley.

I attended this school from Preschool in 1998 to 6th Grade in 2007. Some of the best teachers are at Wilson. I've learned valuable life lessons at this school. While the school is in the center of a not-so-fortunate neighborhood, the teachers set the students up for success.

This school has the best staff and teachers. My kids really enjoy attending this school and I love how it is a smaller school, so you get more one on one time with the teachers. You can tell that the teachers there really care for their students. I love how this school is so in touch with the community. The new principal Mrs. MChann seems to be a good fit for the school. She is already in process of improving this school. Overall, I really like this school.
