I have been around this school with grandchildren for over 10 years and probably will be around 10 more the good Lord willing. It breaks my heart to read the review from Back in 2019. This was truly a disgruntled parent. I understand there are bullying problems as all schools are experiencing. I feel the Principal is handling this the best she can. This school has wonderful caring teachers and staff. To see my grandchildren attend Mass and talk about their faith makea the sacrifices their parents make to send them there worthwhile. This is a best kept secret in Mobile. Truly can't say anything negative.

Awful. The teachers and faculty are terrible.

This school is the best kept secret in Mobile. It allowed my 3 children to flourish academically, spiritually, and athletically in a safe caring environment. Sports, music, band, art, drama, archery and robotics (to name a few) opportunities develop a well-rounded child and help children find and use their gifts and talents. I appreciate that all of the teachers are highly qualified and certified. It lets me know that my children are receiving the best possible education.

I have been teaching at St. Dominic and have never been a part of a place where you feel like family the second you arrive. I have found the students to be intelligent, compassionate, and service-oriented. If you want your child to receive a well-rounded, religious education, you'll find none better in Mobile! The moral values, prayer and development of Christ-centered disciples is at the top of their priority list. In addition to that, they offer many programs to get students involved including Junior Catholic Youth, Angels on a Mission, National Junior Honor Society, cheerleading, dance, soccer, football, basketball, archery, volleyball, Scholars' Bowl, Eagle Theatre Drama Club, Student Council, Prayer Ministry, Chess Club, Technology and Robotics Club, Math Counts Club, art classes, the largest elementary band in the Archdiocese, choir, alter serving, and many others. There is a place for every child at St. Dominic. Not to mention, the teaching staff is phenomenal! They care about the whole child, not just their knowledge, but their character, and they love each and every one. They have high academic expectations and technology in every classroom. If you have been searching for something new and life-changing, check out St. Dominic! You won't be disappointed!

I am a parent of 3 children who currently attend St. Dominic Catholic School (5th, K, & PreK3). My oldest attended public school during kindergarten and 1st grade, and while the academics were good, we were missing the community aspect of the school experience. We decided to move to St. Dominic when my oldest began 2nd grade, and we have been so pleased with the decision. The teachers who have taught my children have been excellent, and I have found them to have high standards in the classroom, which I appreciate. I have also found the principal, Mrs. Mathias, to care very deeply for the children and their success. Extra programs at the school include art, music, Spanish, computer, library, and band (5th grade and up). Children attend recess and PE each day, and Mass on Fridays. An excellent after school care program is also offered for all grades (including preschool), which was a must for our family since we are both working parents.

I have two children that attend St. Dominic School, one in PreK4 and one in First Grade. I have found St. Dominic's to be a wonderful learning environment for my children. They have up to date facilities with modern technology, and first rate faculty and administrators. There is a new early learning center that is exceptional. They have a long tradition of placing high standards on academics and religious education, but also offer many extracurricular activities to include CYO sports, band, cheerleading, etc. I would highly recommend St. Dominic's as a top choice for any parent looking for a well balanced education that includes teaching religious values.
