St. Joseph Academy has always greeted me and my family with open arms. From the moment my daughter started here in k4, she felt as if they had her back. The principal and the rest of the staff are always so helpful, and they are very much involved in helping our children learn their academics.

I absolutely Love St. Joseph Academy, all three of my children attend: one is in the daycare (which also partners with Early Head Start) and my other two are in the school. We've been in the school since 2012 to the present. Highlights of SJA for me as a parent: The School/Daycare is diverse, the staff is engaging and always willing to listen and help in any way that they can. SJA offers them a dynamic, safe and inspiring learning environment. It's bright and cheery, well taken care of, and they offer so much for our children: from Technology in the classroom, music, art and gym, to after school programs, boys and girls scouts, and more is in the works. There's also plenty of opportunities for parent involvement: there is a parent committee if you choose to attend and be a part of, this is great because it puts you on the front lines of advocating for your children whatever the need or concern might be, whether it's organizing events, or connecting directly with other parents and SJA Professional educators. Also they organize parent trainings on topics that we as parents need and are interested in, there have been fun movie nights for our kids with dinner included- free of charge;SJA is so kind and giving. SJA is sponsored by The Felician Sisters, they do so much for our children, they Truly are the heart of this school. Also, our Principal is one of a kind! He is Passionate, has vision and truly cares about the needs and education of our children. I could seriously go on and on. Visit the school yourself and you will see. It speaks for itself!

The children are happy. The teachers and staff care deeply for the children and what they are learning and they go above and beyond to accomplish well balanced young learners. The atmosphere is welcoming with smiling faces and warm greetings everyday.

School is great and very lively. Staff seem to really care and has a great environment. Like it because my daughter feels loved and learns everyday.

School is really good working with my children, I have 2 kids at the school this year and they are learning a lot. Everyday they talk in the car about what they learned, its very exciting to hear how happy they are. The principal slaps hi fives and teachers say hello with a smile everyday, it is refreshing!

This school is not as strong as it used to be. High turn over in staff, a change in direction of curriculum, and an unhappy teaching staff beg for parents to question where the school is going. The new principle is not as engaged or as invested as the past one was.
