Children obey your parentsParents do not provoke your child to anger. Many see this in the Bible a think it's just about maternal or fraternal parents. When a child is in your care you become their guardian even if for one or 2 hours a day. When a child feels nobody's listening to them and nobody cares yes they are going to act out. As a parent I experience it daily, but as a natural nurturer I keep at it even if at times I feel like giving up. At the age of 26 I was a parent my mindset was focused on being the best mother I could be to my children. I read to them, song to them, love them etc and they changed my life. But , putting them at this school has made me now believe that I have failed them, this school has there favorites, they are misjudging mine and my children's character . If there are no excuses where is your accountability as educators, y'all speak of mutual respect but where is it? When a child tells u someone is messing with them ,but they get in trouble only. My children are children, and are not and have never been exposed to anything that is not like Christ, so if they are being accused of wrong that assassinates their character you need proof. Stop picking because you don't know the hell they suffered. Right is right and wrong is wrong, I don't pick sides because there's fault on both ends, but one fault hasn't been on the earth as long as we have .

Good afternoon my name is Katie Johnson, I’m the parent of Ahlonna Crittenden. I was in for a meeting with the principal and the teacher that did not go well the principal became irate and stormed out and insisted that my partner leave because the meeting was being recorded. Im looking for a solution and a mediation with the principal maybe you can help. Short caption; yesterday I received a call from the school indicating that my granddaughter who is 6 had called 911 from the school several times approximately 12 times and my question to the school was where was the supervision? Why would she be suspended when no one was monitoring her so I was disputing the suspension for my granddaughter. Later that day I received a phone call that my granddaughter had in fact slapped the kid in a class and that she would need to be suspended again. I worked out a solution with the assistant principal with a in school suspension because she is struggling so she needs to be in school. Later that night about 6:30 pm the principal calls stating the suspension stands and she needs to be out 3 days for her actions. Even though the assistant principal gave me the ok for a in-house suspension earlier. A meeting was scheduled for today and we were not a able to come to a resolution because the principle was upset and not willing to work with myself and my partner. My concern is that hope school is failing to educate my grand daughter and when brought to their attention I was directed to her behavior that’s why she can’t be taught. So why keep her at your school if you don’t have the tools or abilities to educate her or keep her safe since it is also an issue. No behavior plan just suspension is the solution?. Please assist if possibleKatie johnson

This is my daughter's first year with Hope Christian Schools Prima location and I am elated with the progress she has made durring her first two semesters. Last year she struggled with her grades averaging a 1.0 gpa. I am proud to say that she is on the highest honor roll at Prima. I highly recommend this school!

How does a 6 year old gets suspended for trying to get out of a restrain. Restraining a 6year old that is having a temper tantrum? Not all the kids are getting a fair shot at education. The lists goes on, and before I pull my kids out I am and will bring change to the school.

Hope Christian is the best thing that has happened to my 2 sons. This their 3rd year in attendance and I have seen so much growth and knowledge in them. The teachers are caring and patient. The school prepares the children for the challenges of the real world both in academics and socially. The principal and deans run the school efficiently and keep parents in tune with what is going on with their children. The weekly progress reports are very helpful so your child does not get to far behind if they are having difficulties, and the teachers are readily available AFTER HOURS for any help that may be needed from children or questions from parents. I am very confident with this being my childrens' 2nd family and comfortable referring this school to anyone. If you are looking for a GREAT school start at Hope Christian Prima. I am sure you will be impressed.

Im a Sixth grader at Hope. I love how the staff never give up on the students. They also make sure we get the best education that we can receive while we are in there care.
