During the 80's this school was the worst of the worst. My parents should not have wasted their money on this school. Not sure about now.

My experience with this school is simply terrible. I could write an essay, but as of right now I only have 2293 characters left for this review. I do not like the direction that this school and its teachers are taking the students academically. The school staff only seem concerned with calling parents constantly on their jobs to tattle-tale on small issues that any adult should and could handle. For example, a call about a student not listening. Dont expect any type of call, if your student is failing, or missing assignments. No, instead when you get your student progressing report, they will be failing in every academic course except Religion. Yes the students get D's in all core subjects, and an A+ in Catholic religion. And then when you the parent try and go to the school and sit in the classroom, because they allegedly have an open door policy (nope, no such thing), you are greeted by the principal, who says nope, you should only come for an hour, and not the entire day. If you plan on sending your child here prepare to seriously home school your child in the evening because the class sizes are 20+ students to one teacher, there is only one grade level class in the school....meaning theres only one 5th grade class, and only one 5th grade teacher. A lot of the students in these classes are disruptive, and are not reprimanded and removed from class so those who want to learn, CAN. So, if your student does get it, you can forget about the teacher giving the student any extra help or reassurance. And what really grinds my gears about this school, is that they seem to not care as much as a the parent about the students failure. If you have a loud, outspoken, active student, they will be punished in this school. Or if you have a shy, quiet student, they will be lost in this school. Parents who sent their students to this school, will have to teach your child at home for 8+ hours, because they definitely werent taught at school. As for the school lunch......its free, but it does not look nourishing. My son, drinks his milk and throws the rest away, which makes him eat 2x as much dinner because he starved for lunch. Make sure you at least feed your student breakfast at home so they can at least function until lunch time when they get their milk.

My daughters both attended Blessed Savior West since k4. They are now in 10th & 6th grade. I love this school, once my youngest graduates I will truly miss the teachers. They now feel like family. This school really cares about the children's education

My daughter has been going there since K4. She will be graduating this year. She has been on the honor roll the whole time while being there holding a 4.145 grade point average. She has bee accpeted at Milwaukee Lutheran HS and will be in AP classes. The teacher at Blesse Savoir cares about their students and wants them to succeed in life.

Blessed Savior West is an extraordinary school. The teachers are supportive and care for their students. I am in middle school and I can say I feel very comfortable with my middle school teachers. They can be humorous and joke around, but know how to be serious and get work done. Basketball is huge at Blessed Savior. Sadly to say, other sports don't get much respect. On the bad side, the school lunch is TERRIBLE! I do say pack a lunch! Seriously it is horrible. I feel sick from it. Other then that, I love Blessed Savior! I feel so safe! Honor Roll is big here. Teachers encourage us to succeed academically.
