Look at the date of these reviews and notice they are all old. I do not recommend this school today. It was a great school three years ago, but the new administration has run it into the ground. Only one AP course and nepotism that runs deep. Caddy women who stand at the front receptionist area and gossip. Lots disorganization and God forbid your child has a special need. They will simply say, they don't have the resources but in reality, they don't want to deal with your kind of kid.They can quote you the bible but would never do anything giving unless it is for show. Sadly, it was once a really great school that I was proud of. If you want to go to a private school, choose Northumberland Christian or Lourds instead.

Meadowbrook Christian School is a school that is dedicated to educating students to be solid Christian citizens. It is an open enrollment school and does not require enrolled families to be Christians to attend. That being said it is a Christian school. So, Christ and a biblical world view are taught in the classroom. The teachers do pray daily with their students and serve as mentors to groups of students within the school. There is an emphasis on community service and character development and they even have a junior class missions trip each year. The school has a respected athletics program that has made a couple of appearances in piaa playoffs in basketball, soccer and track, and their theatrical productions are impressive every year. Recently they hired a curriculum director. You would be hard pressed to find a curriculum director in most small Christian schools, but as a result, the commitment to prioritize a cohesive k - 12 curriculum has reaped fruit in added AP courses and the opportunity for students to participate in the STEM program at Bloomsburg University. Meadowbrook is a wonderful school and it has helped my children grow not only intellectually and physically but most importantly spiritually. For my children it has been the most complete educational experience they could have received from a caring and exemplary staff and administration. Raising three kids is a challenging task and no place is perfect, but the grace and support we have found at Meadowbrook has made that task just a little easier. The opportunities afforded our children here has helped them to discover who they are in Christ in a safe, yet challenging educational environment.

Having graduated from Meadowbrook after 11 years, I have experienced the school and all that it has to offer (or not offer). Despite being a small Christian school, the education provided was a step above my friends at surrounding public schools. Although I did not have the opportunity to receive credit from AP courses, the classes and quality of education that i was taking was comparative, if not more rigorous, than the AP courses that friends from public schools were taking. In addition, because Meadowbrook's education included rigorous work and many varying papers and projects, I was fully prepared for the work load in college. And for anyone seeking a respectable and quality school, Meadowbrook is that and more. The fact of the matter is that, just like in the name, Meadowbrook is a Christian school, and God is put at a forefront in everything. As such, the staff show a heartfelt calling to care and to serve. Overall, Meadowbrook educated me for schooling (college) and for life, and I am proud to be a Meadowbrook alumnus.

I do not recommend Meadowbrook at all. Because it is a small school you don't get the proper education: SAT scores are lower, no AP or Honors classes. They focus on superficial things such as dress code rather than the education. The material in the classes is very very biased and tries to shove God down your throat. I graduated from Meadowbrook and I am highly dissatisfied with my time and money spent throughout the years at this so called Christian school.

Meadowbrook is committed to academic excellence and preparing students for life outside the classroom. The school actively works with the community through service projects and bringing community members in to work with our students. Meadowbrook also teaches students to know what they believe and why they believe it so they can actively defend their faith and engage the culture around them. I don't just want my children to do well in school, but to do well in life and MCS is helping them do both.

Meadowbrook Christian School has been an extended family for us for the past 15 years. My wife and I have a peace each time we drop our kids off at the school. The teachers love their students, pray for their students, and push students to accomplish great things. The education is excellent, and the students are taught to be honest and compassionate. And parents are encouraged to be a part of all that happens there. We love Meadowbrook Christian School.
