I can only speak highly of my children's experience at SAS! The best decision we ever made was to stop in for their Open House one Sunday morning, and we have never looked back!

I love the school, the teachers, staff and families! This school has become like a second family for us - which has been a gift for us!

I can only say that I feel blessed to have chosen Saint Agatha School for our children. Aside from the exceptional academics, there is a sense of family here - it's a strong community. Kids that care for one another, teachers who are always available, an administration that listens - I couldn't ask for more.

My daughter attended St. Agatha School for 9 years. She loved every aspect of the school. Her teachers were excellent & prepared her for a rigorous high school honors curriculum, including Math, English, Science, Latin, & History. Not only that, my daughter achieved top honors -Head of School List- for straight As in all Honors classes during the first half of her Freshman Year. That will tell you how amazing the teachers are. She was also recognized for her National Latin Exam Score in 8th grade. The school spirit, family atmosphere, strong connection to the church, the practice of giving to others, extracurricular activities such as the A/V Club, piano, chess, & the sports programs, including travel basketball, all contributed to my daughter’s amazing experience at St. Agatha School. The principal is wonderful, warm & welcoming but also sets the bar high for success. St. Agatha School is an excellent all-around school. Five Stars!!

We have been very happy with our experience at St. Agatha's. The PreK program is a great mix of learning and play. Our child comes home happy and excited about his day. His teachers are engaged and really foster my child's individual needs. Could not be happier that we found St. Agatha's.

I chose Saint Agatha's after visiting many schools for my young child. The difference between Saint Agatha's and other schools is the true feeling of being a part of a tight knit community. Even at the open house when first visiting the school I could sense how the early childhood teachers truly loved what they are doing from speaking to them. Choosing a school for a young child can be daunting and scary. I had zero reservations sending my child to Saint Agatha's and have no regrets currently being in year two. Mrs. Carr is great you couldn't ask for a more compassionate caring principal!

We have had 3 great years - it is a welcoming community of parents who are invested in their children and the school.

This is an excellent school with high academics. St Agatha has been recognized as a Blue Ribbon School by the Department of Education an unprecedented THREE times.

I've been at the school for 4 years. The curriculum is fairly good and I learned quite a lot but the teachers and school structure were just horrible. When they fired the Spanish teacher, my class did not have Spanish class for 2 months and instead, when it was time for Spanish, we sat in the class doing absolutely nothing. I'm my religion we did nothing but watch movies and learned barely anything. Most of the teachers have ZERO respect for the students. Many teachers yell and scream uncontrollably at students. There are favorites in each class and the teachers make sure you know it. I often felt targeted for my race, since I'd get in trouble for things that other students of the dominate race at the school would do and be overlooked. The younger grade teachers Would SCREAM at the little kids and many of my teachers where VERY disorganized, never checked work, gave answers to tests, used PROFANE LANGUAGE IN CLASS and were very rude. I remember passing in the same homework each week and still getting A's on them, most of the teachers barely checked work. In one of my years here I witnessed a teacher constantly ridicule a student on her hair, weight and food choices, this teacher also involved students in unnecessary drama on different occasions. A teacher there who taught history, tought in a way that made America seem like a horrible country, I love my country and this saddend me. The school its self needs a good cleaning. One student in my grade would constantly not go to class, wonder and scream in the hallways and would fail to be reprimanded for his behavior but if other students were to act this way, they would certainly be disciplined. There are stains everywhere you look and the cleanest room is the principal's office. The teachers also made us clean the school as if a janitor was in our job description. If I'm cleaning, what is the janitor doing? A professional environment and classroom management seem to be non existent at this school. Over all, the school had good curriculum standards but it may not have been taught correctly or by good teachers. The school definitely needs to be rescued in terms of staff and faculty.

Complete lack of interest in my child or the process of learning. Has gone down hill dramatically over the past year

This school has gone from mediocre to bad. I sat in the school parking lot yesterday for about 30 minutes, waiting for my children to be dismissed. I could hear a teacher continually yelling at students the entire time I was there. My heart broke for those kids. Teachers are role models for our children and they are learning it's OK to yell at other human beings. Many teachers have left already or are trying to leave. Not a happy place right now.

My son's teachers are very attentive, polite, and knowledgeable in early childhood development. My four year old son can now write his name as well as several words. He also spells well, too. Prior to enrollment, he had not interest in writing and reading. I was desperate! I am very happy with his progress !

The teachers and staff are supportive and care for each student's development. All students feel welcomed and cared for in the school.

St. Agatha School is not even deserving of 1 star. My child started junior hight there this fall. I pulled her out after 3 weeks. Lots of busy work, copying definitions from the dictionary, in school projects with little teacher instruction. I was not impressed with the quality of teaching I observed. The teachers were odd and were disrespectful to their students, I could not get my child out of that junior high fast enough and apparently eight others families felt the same way and left with in weeks.

This school is terrible. My child was bullied for two years in this school and nothing was done about it. The Principal plays favorites to families and the children of those families are treated differently than most other students. The same rules don't apply to those children with regard to bullying. When problems are brought to her attention, her resolution is to blame the victim. It has been going on year after year. The same story, just different kids. She also screams and yells at the staff and the students. She is not fit for the position she holds. I would NEVER recommend sending a child here. I feel I waited too long to address removing my children. The effects from this school environment will be felt for a while. I am looking forward to my children starting new schools in the fall.

This school is horrible. I removed all of my children from this place. The principle is vicious, useless and all about the money. I have walked into the school and heard the principle screaming at people (not sure if it was at teachers, parents or workers). This woman has a split personality disorder. Do not go here! Unless you have money to pay for your children's future years of therapy!!!!!

The teachers at the primary level have no idea what is developmentally appropriate for young children. There is what appears to be a tremendous amount of "busy work" to keep the children quiet. In all of my visits to the school, I have observed very little direct instruction taking place. The children are quietly working. On one visit, I observed a teacher on facebook on her phone and then texting. Also, an absurd amount of homework is assigned. Children as young as 6, 7, or 8 years old should not be working for 2 hours a night on homework. They need to run and play and socialize with other children in the afternoon. The children are expected to remain in their seats and quiet all day with very little opportunity for movement or socialization, they need this time in the afternoon. I have been a teacher in a public school for over 20 years and am deeply disappointed in the quality of education my two children have received at Saint Agatha School. I like a school rooted in my faith but will be withdrawing my children after this year if there isn't any improvement. The Principal has been very dismissive of my concerns and the teachers are simply afraid of her.
