    If you have a child on the autism spectrum disorder you should avoid this school. The school leadership is not equipped and committed to supporting children on the spectrum. The main emphasis seems to be on discipline and punishment vs. teaching individuals on the spectrum how to become socially more aware and more effective. MHS also resorts to isolating individuals on the spectrum vs. creating an inclusive environment where everyone has a chance to succeed. You are better off looking for a private (or different) school. In our case, MHS left our son traumatized. Since we switched schools, he is excelling both socially and educationally.

    4/10 the teachers are great but the superintendent is mean and one sided of something doesn’t go her way someone is getting fired
