This is a wonderful school with a lot of community history and a family vibe of truly caring for their students.

EE Jeter is an EXCELLENT school! My kids love it here and the principle and teachers are all great educators and people. I have 3 children here and I would not have them at any other school. Everyone here cares about all students and their growth! My oldest attended a few other schools do to us having to move a lot for work and she got bullied at all other schools and hated to go, since we've been at Jeter (3 years now) she has many many friends, never bullied and all of my children love to go to school!

The only positive thing about this school is the principal, music teacher & art teacher. From the bullying on the bus to the bullying by the first grade teacher we have cut our losses and are moving on. I can only imagine what was said about me to other parents and teachers by my son's first grade teacher. She would talk to anyone that would listen. These teachers are def unprofessional and have not been shown how to talk to parents let alone kids!!! Very sad that this is prob one of the better schools out there!

I have worked personally with the principal a few years ago and I agree with the last commit. I think she is great. She works very hard and loves the children. Some of the people in the community seem to think that color and religion is all that matters. I think support is the key word. If you have problems with this school open your heart and help. I feel like you are prejudging things without personally being involved. I mean really involved. I think about the talk in the teachers lounge. It starts their. If there is negative talk about teachers and staff, it gets around in the community. I have sat their and heard stuff about teachers and staff, it does spread in the community and who"s fraught is that, it could be yours. Give Mrs. Bond and all the Teachers that deserve it, credit. They work very hard to make sure your child becomes a great adult one day.

I will have to agree that some of the teachers are great and do not fit into the group of the not so great ones i am talking about. However, after leaving that school and sending them to another school(private), I saw how far behind they actually were. The teachers are concerned mostly with TCAP scores. The principal is very unprofessional and could have cared less about my children. She did not even know their names or that they were related. She is not involved with the kids and the activities that go on at the school. i know all this because i was a very involved parent. So many things are swept under the carpet at this little school nestled in the woods. Parents would be floored to hear how some of the teachers really talk about their children to other teachers and parents. I Thank God we no longer are part of the gossiping, mis-treating of students that goes on at this school.
