There are several teachers to come and go through this school. My daughter had one of the best years last year. Miss Fuentes and Mrs Couch built her self esteem and let her know she could do ANYTHING she put her mind to. With all the changes in staffing in sixth grade they picked up the slack and still made is a successful year for students. They dealt with billing, fighting and disrupting class. Despite all of that, they still ran effective classrooms. The new principal listened to concerns and put students needs first.

Mrs. Terran the new principal is truly trying to do what is in the best interest of the students. Kids in my son's 6th grade classroom have been suspended, sent to alternative education and in school suspension due to their poor choices. The school is taking a proactive approach to discipline.

I withdrew two of my children from this school and will never look back and will do whatever it takes to protect my children from people like we dealt with here.

I am extremely upset with this school. Back in 2009, my oldest child graduated sixth grade. The principal was amazing, the staff always made sure my child was safe and happy, they took care of things immediately and I never complained about this school. 2014 was the first year of school for my youngest child who was starting Kindergarden. Since this school was amazing before, to my mistake, I thought it never changed and enrolled her here. I am so glad that the end of the school year is nearing because I've had nothing but a horrible experience overall. The principal and staff are completely unconnected with the parents and never seem to bother calling about anything. One thing is for sure though, my child won't be attending next year.

I am very disappointed with Bonham Elem. School. They will not return phone calls. They say negative things to students. The discipline is almost non-existent. Many teachers scream at their classes. Boys call girls filthy names and when reported, the teacher says, "You shouldn't do that."....no action taken. Tutorials are cancelled way more than they have them. My two students have been hit many times and nothing is done, yet they have a no bullying policy. One teacher has said she is gay...I am not prejudiced but that is inappropriate to discuss with our children. ADHD kids are just told to quit using that as an excuse! I know all the teachers aren't bad, but some of them should not be in the teaching profession! Zero stars deserved!

I wish I could rate this school 0 stars! I am enraged with the horrible behavior of staff and students! I used to be a staff member here and can tell you firsthand the teachers care nothing for the kids. One teacher told me she wishes she could throw them out the window! That is one horrible thing to say, especially about kids! I've walked into a classroom before and the kids use their phones and text and the teachers don't even care! This is a terrible school thats need to be reviewed & shut down.
