Cardinal has been innovative in their new Career Based Learning classes. The only school in the area to offer Skills Boss training and Lean Sigma Six

Cardinal has come a long way in the last 10 years. Levys are passing, the school has many CCP and AP classes as well as the most advanced trade/tech classes in the state of Ohio. There are no student fees. A nice small school with excellent opportunities for students.

Cardinal has solid offerings for a school in a small town community.Students can earn many college credits from its own teaching staff in language arts, history, and science as well as several other AP offerings.Arts and sports programming are solid for a school of its size. Highlights include the volleyball and track teams, marching band, and spring musical programs. It would be nice if the community offered a little bit more support, as budget restrictions always prevent Cardinal from offering as much as it would like to be able to offer.

Cardinal has GREAT Teachers and Staff. (My kids really like them) It also has the WORST community in Ohio for public schools. They have continually voted down every school levy. Their claim is that the funds are mismanaged. Now they have cut back any extra-curricular activities or have changed it to a "pay to play" for sports. Cardinal has a very limited bus schedule as well do to cut backs. The community is the 4th largest Amish in the US. The Amish has their own schools so they vote down OUR levy's. The community also has an older public that feels they are being taxed too much because they are on a fixed income. And last but not least, this community has a large "Tea Party" following which means less government and NO taxes. This combination does not fare well for YOUR kids.
