West Dade Academy is a superb school that accommodates your child’s individual educational needs. It is small and family friendly. The teachers are attentive and caring to your child’s individual needs. They work with you and are accessible at all times to discuss any issues or concerns. The school has a practical approach to meeting the needs of every child. Although governed by norms and proper standards, they are not bogged down by draconian rules like issuing detentions because your child brings the wrong shoes to school. The curriculum is comprehensive and well rounded. Multiple points of views and perspectives are discussed in class and everyone is embraced irrespective of they views or background. Teachers and the Administration are attentive, incredibly accessible, and caring. Your child will learn in a family friendly environment and will flourish academically without unnecessary anxiety. I highly recommend WDA. Zero bullying. The only thing I regret is not finding it sooner.

We are incredibly grateful for the positive impact West Dade Academy has had on our family. Both our son and daughter are enrolled here, and the experience has been nothing short of a blessing. The faculty exude love and care, dedicating themselves to ensuring every student comprehensively learns the material while motivating them to reach their fullest potential. Such is the warmth of the environment that when I pick them up, they are reluctant to leave. Without hesitation, we wholeheartedly recommend West Dade Academy to any parent seeking a nurturing educational institution where their children not only receive excellent education but also feel embraced as part of a caring family, where their voices are heard and valued.Regarding reviews I just read all which I know are written by the same person. I feel compelled to address it directly. As someone familiar with said “bullying situation”, it is disheartening to witness baseless allegations. It's important to clarify that the individual referenced, whose child was purportedly bullied, was, in fact, the parent of a child who was in my sons class, who exhibited bullying behavior. The school had to expel this student. It's regrettable that this individual is now resorting to spreading false rumors about the school. To them, I urge reflection and hope they recognize the consequences of their actions. May they find understanding and peace.

My daughter has been attending West Dade Academy since kindergarten, she is now a fourth grader. This school and teachers are absolutely amazing. Teachers are hands on and make learning fun for the kids. When searching for my daughter’s 1st school I wanted to make sure that the classes were not so big so that teachers could concentrate on my child’s needs. I can say hands on that my daughter is definitely getting a good education. My child is very articulate, loves math and science and is excited to attend school. Now, I don’t know about you but that’s very hard to see now in days. I will also mention they have Zero tolerance for bullies or kids being picked on. My daughter had an issue with a classmate a few months ago and the teacher sat all the kids down and got to the bottom of it. Now they are friends. The school is small and very family oriented and you can definitely tell these educators do their job with a lot of love and passion. Am very grateful for them all.

Me encanta esta escuela, mi hijo asiste aqui y siempre ha recibido una atencion excelente. Sus profesores son dedicados, preparan bien a los ninos y ademas les ensenan habilidades sociales apropiadas para su edad. Ademas me siento tranquila porque los demas alumnos son respetuosos, y se siente como que son una gran familia. Entre los alumnos he visto que los mas grandes cuidan y son generosos con los mas pequenos. Es un Centro seguro y tranquilo. Me siento satisfecha de haber decide esta escuela para mi hijo.

My child is not academically motivated (but is well behaved and beloved) and has a 504 plan. I moved my child from a larger private school to West Dade’s Academy’s smaller setting approximately 4 years ago. The smaller setting has been a blessing. My child will graduate from the high school this year. I appreciate the patience and consideration shown to my child and family by Ms.Santana and teachers.

For nearly five years, my children have attended this school. My son, who has ADHD and struggled with communication issues, has shown remarkable progress since we enrolled him here. The school environment has been nothing short of amazing. He has started to communicate effectively and is learning at an accelerated pace. The teachers treat us like family, and there’s a zero-tolerance policy for bullying. They always provide support and assistance whenever needed. In my experience, this school sets a standard that others should aspire to follow.

I’m so greatful that my daughter attends this school. She came from a public school where she was struggling academically and she has improved so much. The school is very family oriented, and they are always doing activities for the kids. My family and daughter are so content with West Dade Academy.

As a parent of four children enrolled at West Dade Academy, I couldn't be happier with our experience. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were welcomed into a warm, nurturing environment where every child is valued and supported.The faculty and staff at West Dade Academy are exceptional. They go above and beyond to ensure that each child receives a top-notch education tailored to their individual needs and learning styles. I've been consistently impressed by the dedication and passion of the teachers, who truly care about the success and well-being of their students.Furthermore, the school fosters a strong sense of community and inclusivity. My children have formed deep friendships with their peers and have always felt supported and respected by both their classmates and teachers.

Do not send your child here under any circumstance. All these ''good'' reviews are years old and extremely inaccurate from what the school is today. My daughter was bullied relentlessly and harassed by her classmates and teachers did absolutely NOTHING. They would always blame my daughter for all the problems the other kids caused. Teachers are biased because they know almost all of their students. Apparently, my daughter was the '' odd one out ''. She left this school traumatized and unable to socialize with people properly. Please never, ever send your kids here. Public school is better than this HELL on earth. If you do send your child here, i have no words for what your child is about to go through.

My daughter was bullied relentlessly by her peers and came home often holding bruises, teachers did not do anything. This school is ableist. Do not attend.

My daughter has been attending West Dade Academy since she is 9 months old, today she is 11 years old. She looks forward to going to school everyday. She enjoys doing homework, learning and spending time with her friends and teachers....these values have been instilled in her because of West Dade Academy. Their academic curriculum and structure permeate in everything they do. Their students build life skills and lifelong relationships. I highly recommend this school.

West Dade Academy has made a huge difference for my daughter since she switched to this school. She is learning in a comfortable and encouraging environment with hands on teaching . The owner ensures that when you leave your child there , you feel they are well taken care of and safe. It is very nice to be at a school where they care about our children’s education. I highly recommend this school for all grades.

I am so happy with West Dade Academy. My son has attended this school since he was 3 months old. He is only 3 years old and he already knows all his letters and sounds, his colors, numbers, days of the week and his months. He has also learned to use the potty. The teachers are so patient and loving. It's so comforting to know my child is learning in a loving and caring environment.

Love this school....West Dade Academy has done so much for my child.. Not only are the teachers great but they are like family.. My child has advanced greatly.. My child was always falling behind in public school.. This school pushes your child to learn and succeed.. Thank you West Dade for everything you do.

West Dade Academy is the best school I have ever been a part of. I have 4 daughters and they all love going to school there. The teachers are truly amazing. They are like family. The way they all care for my girls and look out for them is amazing. You can see how much the teachers love what they do and truly love each of the students. They really take the time to know each child individually and cater the teaching to their individual needs. I am so in love with this school! God has truly blessed me with being a part of this school. There is no other school I would put my girls in. They are advancing so much and they love to learn. I recommend this school to anyone and everyone I meet.

I have three children who have been going to West Dade since their very beginnings. My son began at two and he was singing his ABC's and counting by the end of that year. He was successfully reading at 4 and has steadily improved over the years. I've seen and experienced teachers patience and compassion as they cater to your child's needs academically and emotionally. I'm proud to be a hornet MOM!

Please, as a mother who is suffering very much now with her kids, do not place your kids in this school. My son was in this school since first grade and more and more kids were leaving every year until eventually he was the only 4th grader in the school. He had the same teacher for 3 years and more and more I could feel her irritability with my child. Every day I would go pick him up and he would complain and complain about him. I will never forget the day I went to get him and she was complaining that he couldn't do his worksheet. It was on telling time so he had to read the clocks and write the time. She lectured me for 10 minutes on how she had to erase his entire paper because he got them all wrong, which prompted him to begin crying out of frustration - and going on about how frustrated she is, etc., etc.,. All the while her baby (yes her kids attend the school and after school with her) screaming and crying in the background, the TV on full blast - it's no wonder he couldn't focus. I got home, I sat him down, I took 5 minutes to explain how to tell time on a clock, and then had him try the worksheet - he got them 100% correct. All of them. I wonder what would have happened if she had taken the time to do the same with him. That's when I knew I had to move him.My daughter is another case. I placed her there because her brother was there and what a mistake. She did Kinder there and now she is in first grade and it looks like she will have to repeat the grade. She doesn't know things like ABC's, doesn't know her numbers 1-9. I've cried about this beyond belief. She is getting tutoring from the school, private tutoring after school with a teacher at home, etc., all to catch up to what all of the public school kids know. It's so sad that my daughter is having to suffer through this. She's frustrated and even saying things like "I'm never going to College. I don't know anything". Imagine how that breaks my heart. Don't place your kids in this school. It's a nightmare. Please, don't do it.

I was a student at West Dade Academy for many years and I loved every moment! I made so many close friends and amazing memories. The teachers actually care and listen to every single student. They really make you feel like family. I not only had a great high school experience, but I was also academically ahead. I would recommend West dade Academy to anyone and everyone!
