From my experience with Thomas Jefferson k-8 teachers will not work with the students every time in most classes teachers always give students packets without explaining the work than if we complete it wrong or don’t understand it they punish us with low grades, CSI also known as (detention), verbal abuse towards us students, or Put us on a exclusion list. Also from that students are treated with abuse from other students and when which a student retaliates (which i recommend they don’t) they faces consequences instead of the other student(s) or both. Students can be removed from their learning environment And put in detention and not giving class work, and than punishment for incomplete work.Certain staff members don’t treat the problem that students have when it needed.and to finish my statement if they claim a student acting up or they put a student consistently in CSI they recommend the parent they child in mental programs or therapy but they have the problem with the school. And that’s why I don’t recommend Thomas Jefferson k-8

This school is now a "B-rated school" and i have seen tremendous improvement. Thomas Jefferson Biscayne Gardens K-8 Academy is now a K-8 which helps with the family-friendly environment, smaller classes, and now more impactful instruction. The school has a 15 million grant for STEM education, and is a magnet school. This is a school on the rise!

This school is not terrible but its not great either, there's some good teachers that help the kids out throughout stuff and the school councelour is a really responsible and caring person, but they do need to make some arrangements I used to study there and some things they need to change is the cafeteria, they need to give other mmealsand have a kinder staff, the bathrooms, we all know school bathrooms are never the best but these bathrooms in particular some are just gross the smell and the water is just bad and Ive been in other school and its not like this also some teachers need to be more involved what they get paid for: teaching, some of them just put videos and online assesments but not actually stand up and teach a lesson like they're supposed to. So yes these school is not terrible but does need to make some arrangements to improve learning and student satisfaction

The Principal there has a terrible attitude. She like to belittle the children and also the parents especially if you are of a different nationality. She treats the kids as if they are delinquents. I have had horrible experience with her.
