I use to go to this school and I must say that they have great teachers and very respectable students and staff .The teachers make sure there students pass the F-Cat and have managed to keep a B-average.If your looking for good schools' in Miami then please choose Norland Elementary School.

This is my daughter's second year at this school. She is in second grade. The only good thing I can say about this school is that I loved her first grade teacher and I like her second grade teacher. Other than that, this school is absolutely HORRIFIC. The parents are the problem. This school is FULL of kids whose parents don't care about raising model students. This school is over-run with disrespectful and rude kids. Attend just one school function and the parents will show you where they all get it from. Pick-up and drop-off is a joke with all of the rude, inconsiderate and erratic drivers. I overheard a parent complaining about the school's new safety policy and aside of sounding completely ignorant she was yelling at school staff in front of students, including my daughter. The phrase "no home training" comes to mind, except for the fact that the kids who attend this school learn to be the way they are by their own parents. This school is a JOKE. That's the nicest word I can use.

My son had been attending Norland Elementary for 3 years now, and I must say that this school is excellent. The teachers actually take time to make sure all students are learning. I have no complaints whatsoever.
