The staff in the office are very mean and rude all of them . Very sarcastic owner and her assistant is extremely mean who doesn’t care about the students.

Honestly visit and go to another school. They sell an image of inclusion and caring for the students. Bullying is very common amongst the student; however administration covers up pretending they are doing something. Teachers are careless, they embarrass and humilities students. Administration is aware and their response is everyone makes mistakes, I have to protect my teachers. As far as tuition extremely expensive for the education given there. Please save yourself a headache and worried about your son and daughter well-being. There are other MUCH BETTER options than this. This school as my son described is depressing, sad, bad vibes. I feel terrible thinking another child can go through the emotional stress my son went through because of the students and the teachers. Find another school, this is NOT the right place!!!!

This school is not for special needs or autistic children. They are ill equipped and lack the patience and resources to handle them.

As a former teacher at MCS, I am so disappointed and disillusioned with this school. From poor administration, focused on not getting sued, to micro-managing classrooms, to eliminating teacher benefits, to hiring inexperienced teachers who can't speak English properly, to pushing out quality teachers, to cutting academic programs, to focusing on money/admissions above all, this school went from a good-hearted, Christ-centered school to one scrapping to survive and compromising principles and programs along the way. Knowing what I know now, I could never recommend this school to a prospective parent.

Such a good school! My kids love it they are always so happy to go to school every day. Now with COVID-19 school is making the best to make sure students are always interacting with everyone and students!

As a parent, I am very proud to send my daughter to school everyday. I am given a sense of ease knowing she is not only safe, but also being given the optimum experience spending her days here. She loves going to school.. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. This is a very family-centered organization. They provide great opportunities for students both in academics and extracurricular activities. Once my daughter graduates, I am confident she will be provided with the tools for her next course of education.

I think MCS is a great school because everybody is loving, and caring. MCS has a great sports department and it is bully free. If there is anyone is being bullied they can call the bully hotline and will communicate them directly to the principle. They have a great Jazz, Symphonic, and beggining band. MCS also has a great art and computer teacher. Something I personally like about MCS is that it is like one big family. You will offenly see 3rd graders getting along with seniors. MCS is a very good school and I wouldn't pass out the opportunity to study here.

My granddaughter has been at this school since she was 3. She has been provided an excellent education and has become a really well rounded student who is respectful, kind-hearted and eager to learn. MCS has state of the art tools for their classrooms and excellent teachers and an amazing student/ teacher ratio. In addition, I love the opportunities the school provides. Students may opt to take classes in everything from Mandarin Chinese and Robotics to advance math with AP and Dual Enrollment to get a head start on college credits. My granddaughter was lucky to learn clarinet from a great jazz musician who teaches music at MCS and their performance won Superior ratings this past spring. On the sports front, students seem to try out everything from an early age and select their favorites as they grow older. Team sports add another layer of the great education MCS offers. The broad range of options at MCS guarantees that the potential each child has will be explored and reached. Love this school!

My children have been attending MCS for about 5 years now and I am very pleased with their spiritual growth as well as their educational growth. I especially like that they take middle school and high school to a spiritual retreat. In just a few years, I've seen my children grow more enthusiastic about attending school. At MCS, they constantly speak to the students about college and challenges them to do more than expected.

The school doesn't care about academics. Ralph Fernandez ( Math) the worst teacher ever, 70% of middle school didn't pass the final test. He spend the class on his personal computer. Cordeau(English) didn't use the books she ordered to buy, no structure, everything is HW. Very sarcastic. The administration know about it, but the teachers don't get pay enough, so administration don't care about what parents say. Stay away from this school

THIS school IS A RIP OFF!!!!! The teachers are the worst, you would think that been a private school they would actually care about the students , they actually talk bad about the students. All they care about is the money. My kids were their for one year ,and it was the worst experience ever. I NEVER LIKED IT!

the problem starts with administration. No school spirit and don't care about it eighter. There are some great teachers who are not appreciated by administration. Some teachers are dictators and use old fashioned methods. But, atleast the students are encouraged to be involved in sports.

This school is a joke! Enrollment is a quarter of what's its been in the past and the reasons why are obvious. The campus is outdated and taking apart, the academics are below standard and not up to par with public schools, a large portion of the students coming in are McKay/step up students who have been kicked out of public schools and need addition help but aren't getting it. Save yourself the money and send your child to a real school. On top of the over prices tuition, there are always a million and one made up fees. The cafeteria is extremely expensive despite the fact that the food is very unhealthy (pizza, fries, tater tots, chef boyardee, etc.)

As a former student who has transferred out of MCS, I can say this school is not trying hard enough to bring in students. There is a complete lack of school spirit and the school itself is a shell of what it used to be. The teachers are few and under appreciated. At times they are forced to teach classes that they aren't suited to teach. They also butter up the programs they have and make them out to be exclusive when even a local college such as FIU doesn't even recognize the school's scholar program as a credible one. There have already been 2 teachers that have left this year with rumors of even more wanting to leave. Though the classes are small and at times very beneficial for a one on one teacher/student experience, the high school size is pathetic. The recent senior class was very tiny There was always too much drama among the students and there always seemed to be some sort of big issue that on occasion that led to suspension or other consequences. There are little to none educational standards and unless you are in an AP, "scholars" class, or choose to do dual enrollment, you will not be challenged and the school will be a breeze.

This is a really good school if you want your children to have personalized attention. I see the complains about the school being small, but in our case it has work for our advantage. The children get such personalized attention that they can improve better and faster than in a larger school. I don't exactly know why they have lost students -my children have been in the school only for two year now- but their teachers were just exceptional. They do a great job in every area: academically, spiritually and socially. My daughter's reading skills are way better of many of her friends from other schools. Teachers keep on top of any bulling or anything like that to assure a peaceful social life among the kids; they teach the Bible in a way that the kids enjoy it . You can see that they actually do care for your kid, and that's what I want the most from a school. So I'm keeping my child in the school and I would recommend it to any parent who wants their children to have a good education in a save Christian environment.

After reading the reviews below, I can only assume that they are from a group of individual, who during the past year have been trying to destroy the reputation of MCS. They tell outright lies and spreading rumors which are obvious in the lies below. For example, the administration is not and should not retire. They manage the school extremely well, especially in a struggling economy. MCS admin are careful with the school s finances. Another is the academics, we have several advanced programs to challenge students: honors, AP courses, Scholars & dual enrollment. Our students are accepted at top universities around the world and in the top percentage of the classes. If someone is not challenged, they are not being truthful. As for saying the school doesn t work with the students with disabilities is a straight out lie. We work very hard to help students with disabilities. However, we do hold them accountable for their work & behavior in the classroom. As for the former teacher, I think it is obvious they are bitter because they didn t have their contract renewed. This is sad because if they say the academics were meaningless they are talking about their own work.

I used to work here and as a teacher I have to say that if you enroll your son/daughter here, they will have difficulty getting by through college because the academic standards in this school are meaningless.

School with great potential, some great teachers, some not so great. Mostly great staff that keeps being cut every year. School suffering from really bad management and administration. It has been slowly dying in the last six years. Needs to be saved by current administration retiring and bringing in good solid christian administration with fresh wisdom and experience. They lost over 100 students last years. Teachers are underpaid, not medically insured, not observed by administration, not supported-yet micro managed! Teachers often quit without notice because of salary and lack of support and encouragement. Administration is driven by fear, they are reactionary, inconsistent, they don't look after their teachers and for a small school do not know their students. Academic levels lower than public schools, they have great PR, but often slanted to hide the truth. Administration advertises teachers job without notice or warning. High school without secretary is chaotic and unorganized. Disciple is inconsistent. Christian input is haphazard and not organized. Teachers are not appreciated by administration which require work without compensation. Save this school-someone please!

My child is not challenged enough. The academic standards in this school are of no particular meaning. After attending kindergarten last year, I enrolled my son at a public charter school and the 1st grade teacher said my son was having a difficult time with his letters and sounds and reading. I don't recommend sending your kids to this school for any academic purpose.
