Horrible experience, my child has not had 2 teachers from the begining of the year, so out of the 4 or 5 clases a day he has he is missing two. During the COVID19 situation they only have online clases 45 mins a day, one subject per day beacuse they dont have enough teachers to cover all assignments. Just because it is private you will think they will have more classes, computer labs, science labs, extra curriculum, but no. PE is a joke they never go because the coach is too busy with their baseball team, which is the only thing they pride of. I can go for hours saying all things wrong with this school, starting for teachers from principal down that do not speak English. In other words my child has messed most of his eduation.

The only thing this school had as a benefit was the security, but now that it moved locations there is no security. The education is below average. Homework is not checked just acknowledge that it was done. Teachers do not help the students regardless of the ability for one on one attention since the classes are small. Like the previous reviews state...It's all about the money. No art program, no music, no computers. Save your money. All my children begged me to be put in a public school after attending this school.

The school effectively held me back from learning (efficiently, or arguably at all) by making its own backwards' policies and (for lack of more adequate word) ridiculous teachers their main priority (I won't make a comment as to where profit falls on their priority list, since I obviously don't have physical evidence. But, I should note that it's interesting just how similar, and pointed, many of the other comments are (see: admins fancy cars, unhealthy/pricey lunch choices, etc.)) (I'll also note how essentially ALL the positive comments are either from parents of much younger children/parents moreso in need of childcare, OR, fail to mention any of the schools educational attributes, OR both...) Their heart is in the right place, but they're out of their depths and not shying away from enjoying the ea$y ca$h (especially from some easy targets..)

As a parent of a first grader I can say that I am very happy with the education that my daughter is receiving. The teachers and staff are truly amazing. The administration office is always willing to help me with any concern that I may have. The teachers are all highly qualified and very giving. I know I made a right choice.

Brito has been a great choice for our family! The experience I had with their VPK program and now Kindergarten has been wonderful.

It has been brought to our attention that there may be former students or faculty that were dismissed by our administration in order to maintain our school at the highest standards, and are now making remarks to compromise the integrity of our school. Brito Miami Private has been in operation in South Florida for over thirty years and our graduates have succeeded both at a higher academic level (private and public) and in their careers. It is with the great pride and satisfaction that our teachers and staff continue to educate future alumni using the newest and most up-to-date curriculum. Furthermore, our school is fully regionally accredited by AdvancEd/SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools), nationally accredited by NIPSA (National Independent Schools Association), and state accredited by COBIS (Council of Bilingual School). Therefore, we welcome any parents who are considering our school for their child’s admission to schedule an appointment and tour.

Both of my daughters are graduates of BritoMiami Private school and my wife and I would not have chosen a better institution for their elementary, middle and high school studies. They continued their education at FIU which was an easy transition for them. If it were not for the education they received at BMPS, their future success would not have been attainable. Today, they are very successful in their careers but continue to keep their alma mater in a special place. The Brito family has educated many of the leaders of our community today and we are sure they will continue with their legacy instilling these values to future generations in the years to come.

As a parent of three children, I would gladly recommend this school. The small family environment and caring staff are one of the best parts of Brito Miami Private. My oldest just entered high school and the younger ones are in the different elementary levels and they have always been challenged academically. I hope to continue their education at Brito and always be a part of the panther family.

I went to this school for two years, and I can honestly say I learned more in public school than I ever did here. Three of my teachers literally gave me A's because they liked me, which is great to pass, but does nothing for my education and knowledge. The administration is a mess, and they are only nice to you when it has to do with money. I have never gone through bullying by staff until this school. They also give beautiful grades and honors to the children of the staff, while the rest of the class has to work for their grades. The lunch is anything but nutritional, and all they really care for is money and baseball titles. The condition of the school versus the fancy cars the staff drives should give a hint.

Terrible school DO NOT ENROLL YOUR CHILD THERE! Teachers are careless and do not follow up with the children's progress, homework are overlooked. The work done in class is left with a large amount of mistakes and blank pages. Also, it is important to note that the teachers/staff English skills are questionable....

Both of my children attended Brito throughout elementary and high school. This year, my youngest graduated and honestly both developed into fine well rounded individuals. Proud mom! Scholastically no complaints, honors all the way and they were accepted in both private and public universities. My eldest is already pursing her Masters Degree. Through the years my children grew in a great setting, variety of students, and with diverse teachers. Administration is supportive. Plenty of parent involvement opportunities. Honestly, I will miss all the amazing holiday and end of school year shows :( Thanks for the great memories!

This is my son's first year at brito. I consider putting him there when he was about 5 years old, but really didn't feel to comfortable due to the fact it's a k-12 school and wasn't sure if he would be safe. Now my son is in the 3rd grade and I've learned before he attended the school, all the students are different buildings. He has about 15 students in his class. My main issue is, that I do not like that there's really only one of each grade for elementary. I'm not sure for the higher grades. I dislike it because your child had no options of teachers and students. Which means if my child has a problem with either, they helpless and stuck in that situation. There's some students very few, I would prefer my child not to be in class with. but there is nothing that can be done, especially if their parents are paying monthly like me. Also they uniform are pricey, you have to pay for lunch and books. My child didn't get his book, until the middle of the school year. I rate the school a 4 because of the great line of communication with nice staff. They contact me if my child needs anything, and they are willing to help him if I'm not available. He has fun and he's learning.

This place is a disgrace. They promote a "nurturing environment" but the Kindergarten teacher is a psychotic tyrant. She screams at the little ones like an army drill sergeant and disciplines thru intimidation rather than nurture. She has no respect for the parents and tells you to "Go file a complaint" if you don't like her manner. I have observed her repulsive behavior and it is shameful and sad. Parents drop off their kids feeling worried about them. The administration does nothing about it. THE ONLY THING THEY CARE ABOUT IS GETTING MONEY. The place is a dump. Save yourself heartache, money, and stress for your child.

This is THE WORST SCHOOL I have ever dealt with as a parent, and student myself. Read this review and save your money please. I enrolled my son in their VPK program, the teacher NEVER introduced herself. Complained on a daily basis about how tired she was and overwhelmed despite having a tiny class AND assistant. She yelled personal information out in front everyone like "YOUR SON WAS NOT LISTENING TODAY I BARELY SLEPT LAST NIGHT IDK HOW I DID IT". She couldn't spell to save her life and called my son by the wrong name the entire year. I tried several times to set up an appointment with the principal and she dodged them all. He wasn't supervised during lunch so he never finished and she would ask to keep his blueberries if he didn't finish...she always had her daughter in her class so of course wasn't paying full attention to the students. I couldn't believe I had to pay them to watch my son.

I attended Brito for about 9 years as a student. I started there in kindergarten and stayed until 9th grade. I found myself in a tough situation as I got older attending this school because I realized that I really wasn't learning anything. The only thing that saved me was the studying I did out of school. I went on to become successful because public school is what saved me. You can get a better education at a public or charter school. The classrooms and student body sizes are so small that you do not develop social skills. I've seen most of my friends that graduated from there become very antisocial and afraid of the world because they were protected by the small gates of Brito. I warn all parents that before sending your child their please read this. If I would've attended another school I would've learned more and saved my family a lot more money. I suggest you a send them to a public school or if you have the money a real private school not this money hungry school. And just to throw in a fun fact. While I attended this school we had computers from the early 2000's in like 2009. Very outdated and used up while the principle went out and bought a brand new Maserati.
