This is a private school with a new building and for some reason classes are crowded with 30 students per teacher, making it impossible to teach. There are a LOT of students with severe behavioral issues. There is zero discipline and students are allowed to to whatever they want including being aggressive and threatening teachers, copying and cheating without any consequences. They take advantage of their socio-economic status to evade the rules and have a dismissive and disrespectful behavior with others. The admin only worries about pleasing their unruly students because they are afraid of losing the tuition money. Teachers have to submit and accept that the kids rule the school.

Poor and inadequate professional leadership at the elementary school level.

I would not reccomend sending your children here at all. I sent my son to the high school this year, and out of all the Jewish schools, we have tried this id definitively at the bottom of the list. Both the Judaics and the traditional course are not sufficient with the teaching they provide. Along with the poor teaching, the workload given to students is extreme especially this year with an ongoing pandemic.

Overall my kids have received a great education, made some great friends, and are learning how to also be a good, kind person - Hebrew Academy develops not only the mind but also the heart.

I have two sons who graduated from this school. They were accepted into great colleges. They came out well prepared and most importantly with a strong sets of values that sets them apart from the rest of the kids. My daughter is still there. Two more years until graduation. If you are Jewish and you want great education and an amazing and solid foundation based in our chore values this is the school for you.

This is not a good childhood program, mainly due to the negligent and unprofessional EC Director. In the ~2 years that she's been working there, countless staff have quit because of her.The best teacher resigned without notice or warning after 10 years of teaching. The EC treats them so poorly that you can sense the negativity, even in the hallways. The qualifications required to be a teacher (as each classroom requires at least 2) is not up to professional standards: for example, the school has begun employing mothers of the students, as parents with over 3 children enrolledautomatically get 40% off of tuition as incentive. These people, who I will say are incredibly nice and nurturing, just do not meet the requirements I would expectfor the $1,000/month tuition. Basically, you are paying for an expensive babysitting service. To top it all off, the campus is old and dilapidated; nothing is renovated, and it shows, as many of the classrooms smell like mold.RASG Hebrew Academy does the bare minimum because they know their competition for quality Jewish schools in Miami is very limited. If there were more options, they would have no choice but to improve the place. Unfortunately, this is just not the case.Under no circumstances would I recommend putting your children in this program.

Hebrew Academy in Miami Beach is an amazing school. I had my kids in elementary, middle and high school. The school has challenging classes for students who can handle them like AP and honor level classes and regular level and help for students who can benefit from that. Each student is treated like an individual and the whole school feels like a family. The dual curriculum gives the students the opportunity to learn about their heritage and communicate in Hebrew while receiving excellent secular education. Students who graduate get into top universities in Florida, the US and Israel. Many opt to take a year of study in Israel's Yeshivot or other programs.

Hebrew Academy (RASG) is a great school with a long history of success which is evident by the great colleges 100 pecent of the graduating studnets are accepted to annually. Both of my children attended Hebrew Academy from pre-school through high school graduation, were accepted to fantastic colleges, and were more than prepared for college and the real world. Their Jewish heritage was nutured and developed and I am proud to say my children are Hebrew Academy alums! Go Warriors!

Definitely NOT an academic school. With a duel-curriculum, 'real' academics are pushed aside. Many students have learning issue not met, which creates an environment of stress and bad behavior. Speaking of behavior, many students are AWFUL. Particularly in the high school, where learning is a joke. Students are out-of-control; the stories my former student would come home with were shocking...until he brought videotapes of classes home! Not worth the money, NOT for anyone wanting an education--
