I just graduated from this school two days ago and I have to say it’s absolutely horrendous. This school does a really great job of clipping students wings and not allowing them to express themselves. The administration is too caught up in how much funding they get then paying attention to a student’s mental health, it’s honestly disappointing. The one highlight of this school is the amazing teachers, but other than that the place is a dump. Disgusting bathrooms, deteriorated interior, and just overall terrible people running it. The one thing that pushed me over the edge was the activities director. The day of graduation I arrived with a custom stole made by my sister with various clubs and my college I was going to. I walked in and the activities director snatched it off my shoulders and said “this comes with me”. When I asked for it back to just give to my parents she said no. I got no explanation as to why it was snatched and it baffles me because no where in the handbook was it stated a student can’t wear a stole. I arrived two days later where I was told it would be along with my diploma and instead I was told “it’s at my house”. Why is my stole in your house? And more importantly why is the inconvenience to me when you’re the person who didn’t put it in the handbook? It’s honestly just so frustrating because these people treat you like children even after you are an adult and graduated from their school. I would recommend any other school but this place, again it is a horrible place to send a student that wants to be expressive or even just themselves. I will not miss it.

I currently go there and the sucks that being said, we are going through a reformative period where administration is changing to better control the incoming classes. However, in my past four years, it’s been nothing but skipping, smoking and kids getting suspended. The scholars and ib have a whole different high school experience than the general population which seems unfair because of the teachers and administrative support they receive while the rest of us fend for ourselves….

My daughter is in the scholars program at this school. She's been attending online school because of Covid. I hear her teachers teaching and they are FANTASTIC! My son was also just accepted into the school and Mrs. Guido the registrar was very helpful and took the time to explain and help me with everything I needed. I'm so glad I had this school as an option for both of my kids.

This is the home of drugs and gangs, worst of it is that the administration is aware of it they are careless, going from the principal Mr Donohue to all levels. Their response is that they have an overpopulated school not to take care of all the incidents our kids have to face every day. Teachers can grade the students as they wish, even gifted, responsible and brilliant students are graded with Z, if they get to have a great. The counsellor Ms Medienta has no clue of any of the students and provided incorrect feedback or information to whom ever requests it. Mr Lefrance have no idea of anything neither. If you visit the school they spect you to have an appointment when they never pick up the phone or listen to their voicemails or emails. This is why we see so many lkids bullied and pushed to do drugs and wrong actions, wasting them and making them trash. At this school encourage the students to take the parents out of the picture and make decisions on their own with no advise or orientation, remember they still kids!!!I'm thankful for the decition we made to withdraw our boy from this nightmare, now we are part of a school with about 1,000 more than MBSH and the whole staff knows every students by name and grade, they have the time to follow up individually and returns calls or emails same day, no later than the end of the school day. Please let's do our job as parents and not put our babies into a place where now they even need to have a K9 in campus. There lunch is terrible, it's like eating carton board. Let's make our kids stronger and confident not a wake vicious looser as this school environment and administration is. The same day I withdraw my child many other parent were there doing same thing, I give them an applause. We need a better and healthier society for out future adults.

Great school that has limitless potential for those who are willing to work hard and strive to be the best regardless if they're in any special program. There is something for everyone here at Beach High.
