Don’t move to Menominee. The school system is run down, poor, teachers don’t care and have zero interest in communicating with parents and rarely even write a simple comment on report cards let alone have parent teacher conferences or extracurricular activities. They play clear favorites for kids and their punishments and send kids home for every reason possible. The lunches are disgusting. They cancel school for every reason possible. If you are not born here and raised here you and your child will be treated like outcasts even after living here for years. The only upside is the athletic coaches - they are all brilliant and passionate parents who volunteer their time to coach and do a fantastic job. For academics, just drive an extra 5 minutes and go across the river to the Marinette (WI) school district. Northwards, even the Carney-Stephenson district is better than Menominee.

do not send a child to this school if your looking for equality my son was abused by this school he had a learning disability and wasnt allowed to continue a normal child hood based on how his biggest tallents were not allowed here they took his dreams away and left him with nothing more than you cant do it, it devastated him his road to recovery will be with him forever no football for a child with a learning disabality and was flat out told he wouldnt succed becouse his hand wriitting skills were poor they kept him out of the only classes that would have gave him the skills to work no workshop classes for kids here with bad penmanship i only pray there stopped before anymore kids are treated this way again.
