I would rate this school a 10 I am proud of the achievements my son Alijah is making. Also Im proud of the eagerness my son has to interact and learn daily with his teachers and peers.

I’m not sure why this website is giving this school a low rating because Double Tree is an EXCELLENT SCHOOL! My children go here and they are excelling beyond expectations. I recommend this school to EVERYBODY that I know that has kids

Overall it is a good school. Teachers are sort of strict. Not a problem at all.

Despite what the ratings look like, I can honestly say, this has been a great learning and cultural experience for both of our children. What brought us here was my youngest child, who is very bright, wasn't being challenged in his previous school, but who was being labeled instead. I was looking for a setting that would accommodate his learning style. He is not only a visual learner, but is very tactile. Doubletree has been the perfect fit! I was skeptical at first because of where the school is located. However, we have not been disappointed! We drive at least 20 miles, and the drive has been worth it! For the most part, Doubletree has an impressive alumni group and willing parents who are supportive of the school. Those who are disrespectful and not involved are typically the ones who are giving low ratings in retaliation for something that didn't go their way. But if you come check out the school for yourself, you will not be duped! All of the children were even introduced to all of the staff, to include, maintenance, cafeteria staff and housekeeping. There are no strangers at Doubletree!

“After considering the many options for my son’s first school, I decided to enroll him in the optional program at Double Tree Montessori and Technology School. Not only does Double Tree offer a quality education, but the program enriches the whole child. Double Tree fosters school pride and self-respect. The teachers LOVE the kids. Parents are welcome and are actively involved in the educational process. I am a teacher and I LOVE DOUBLE TREE!!!” ~Chandra R. Perkins, Parent of Current Student

Double Tree is a wonderful place for any child to learn. Teachers go out of their way to help each child any way they can, there are numerous programs for children to participate in, and classrooms not only focus on academics, but also on community and respect. I have been extremely happy with this school.

This school is one of the worst schools in Memphis. I am gravely disappointed in the staff and curriculum. The staff prioritizes students based on their preference. The kids are unruly and scrupulous. The curriculum is outdated and essentially useless. My son is the teacher's aide and during class he acts as a tutor/helper and I know that helps to reinforce his learning and prior knowledge but he is not acquiring any new material/knowledge.

Double Tree Elementary is a well rounded school. The faculty as well as the satff takes an interest in the children academically as well as socially. Students are given the opportunity to display their talents in and outside of the classroom. Parents are welcomed to help in the classroom. Teachers give of themselves before and after school. Double Tree is the best school in the whole wide world.

For anyone to write something negative about the best school in the whole wide world is absurb. Any wrongdoings or misguided opinions about Double Tree School, faculty and staff , should require you to take a look at yourself. The teachers at Double Tree are all highly qualified and very well emerged into the MCS curriculum. They teach the total child. They provide a safe haven for the childen. And aslo make learning alive, fun and worth the while. I am so very glad I selected this school as my school of choice. I am a Dolphin and proud of it.

Principal has poor management skills. Unprofessional and petty environment overall. School's agenda is mainly concerned with dance teams,coronation,fund-raising,and after care instead of academics.
