The staff at Meadows care about students and their academic success. They work hard in and out of school to make sure students are receiving the education the state has required and more. I personally know many teachers and staff, and my children have attended for 8 years and counting. Meadows gives children the opportunity to show leadership in groups like choir, student council and coding club. The PTO is highly involved, and community members volunteer to make sure teachers and students are supported. The city of Meadows Place supports the school by allowing students to access the nearby Nature and Discovery center as well as the park and pond for science and educational opportunities. The librarian at Meadows goes above and beyond to not just support students' reading but also their project-based learning, utilizing technology and media. Meadows teachers and staff work well together, collaborating, and they encourage new staff members. Students are safe at school, and the facilities are new and clean. Learning is more than any kind of specific focus on one test, but rather growing in all areas to be a life-long learner.

This is a wonderful neighborhood elementary school. The building itself is new and the district invested a lot in the rebuild, including the library, media arts, and technology in the classrooms. The teachers at the school are wonderful and caring. They take pride in their work and in the community. This is truly a community elementary school. Many of the teachers live within the neighborhood.

This is the best school my son has been to so far! I have a son that was diagnosed with autism when attending to another school. He was placed at meadows elementary in the ABC classroom in kindergarten. The team of teachers were so good that my son improved tremendously in a short period of 6 months. The team changed a few times from kinder to first grade and every single person that stepped In was adding something good to the mix. Loved all teachers and even when my son was moved to a new school to continue with the progress of his program goals, we are still in touch with most teachers who loved and care for my son very much! This needed a longer review but I’m making it short limiting myself to his classroom and not adding about the rest of the school who was also amazing.Strongly recommend this place, specially the special education dept.Love them!

Fantastic, my four children achieved an excellent education that prepared them well for middle school and high school. All four received college degree with two earning a masters degree. The culture of the school and strong community support aided the teaching to focus on helping the students master the desired goals..

My Daughter currently goes to this school and we LOVE it. Instead of just teaching the bare minimum the teachers work really hard to get the children to above average. The staff is amazing! This school has an open floor plan. (Kinder has their own rooms) I really like this because the children get to know one another because they can see each other.

Old principal, who I had witnessed being verbally abusive to her employees and rude to parents, is gone. The new team at Meadows seems very friendly and interested in the needs of parents. I have already attended a teacher meeting where the AP sat in. She seemed genuinely interested in my child. Looking forward to a great year!

I have had two children go through MEfrom K-5th grade. My children have gotten an A+ education. The teachers go out of their way to help their students and parents work toward common goals. The principal is an outstanding leader in our community and really cares about her faculty, staff, students, parents, and community. Her TAKS scores back up her actions and compassion. Your children will recieve the education in what YOU contribute into the time with ME and their teachers. If you keep the lines of communications open the possibilities of oportunities for your children are endless. My youngest will complete his last year at ME and we are confident he will be well ahead of the game when he heads over to DMS because of the positive and easy transition our oldest son had last year. You will never regret a moment your child enters the doors @ME.

Meadows is a warm, close-knit educational environment where students appreciate each others' special qualities and build on each others' strengths. Students learn in a variety of ways and teachers go the extra mile to meet students' needs.
