McNeal Elementary School is a wonderful, ideal small school! I cannot say enough good things about it! All 3 of our kids have attended here, and they all had positive experiences with all of their teachers and administration. The staff really care about the students, and they give of themselves in many ways to invest in their students. They go out of their way to accommodate students' special needs and even to reach out to the families. They truly care. They have done a great job with keeping school going despite COVID while taking necessary precautions. There is a high standard in the school for behavior and an emphasis on character, in particular. We couldn't be happier with our experience at McNeal Elementary! We highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

My biggest issue is the blatant ignorance to bullying. Teachers and admin see it happen and ignore it like it doesn't happwn or it didn't occur. Even police reports go unfazed by the admin.

If i would have known how bad this school was I wouldn't have enrolled my child into it! The teachers are fine however there is way to much favoritism especially in 7th and 8th grade. The principal doesn't do her job most of the time, she just hides behind her computer. My 7th grader was dressed coded almost every day by the principle for her shorts not being finger tip length. My daughter has long arms and legs so it's hard to find shorts that are long. When my husband would bring her clothes up there were other girls that had on worse outfits then my child and weren't dress coded. After this going on for 2 weeks we finally withdrew her. Come to find out this principle does this to any new students.

I think this school is the best. The teachers and staff go above and beyond to teach the kids. All 3 of my children attend and they are learning not only their grade level but beyond because of the mixed classrooms. The teachers are very open to communication and are willing to work with your child's needs. The Superintendent is very welcoming with answers or issues a parent might have. I wouldn't want my kids to go to another school but this one.

McNeal Elementary is the worst school in all of Cochise County. They have no school nurse and often leave major injury's such as broken bones unattended for hours. There is no real communication between staff and parent and when the parent does express concern Mrs. Reyna gets very brash. There is no room to grow or advance academically for advanced students. Most of the teachers are very rude and don't get me started on the bullying that goes on between the children and how it is left unattended by the teachers. I had to take matters into my own hands and call parents and also file police reports about the bullying and lack there of on no school nurse.

If i would have Known how bad this school was i wouldn't have enrolled my child into it! The teachers are fine however there is way to much favoritism (especially in 7th and 8th grade) that it discourages some of the other students. The principal doesn't do her job most of the time, she just hides behind her computer. And the school has made it impossible to get the "favored" student in trouble, no matter how much the bully. there was one case where one student almost broke another peers hand and got away with it! not to mention the lack of supervision on field trips! if you live in the area save your self some frustration and send your kid to elfrida or even better, home school 'em!
