Virtual Academy CCCS is the best remote high schools in Northern and Central California. My twins have successfully completed high school prepared to continue their educational journey. They are now more confident and have the necessary educational and personal tools to meet life’s challenges. I’ve have had first hand experience with the Capturing Kids Hearts as this the foundation of their learning model that is integrated and demonstrated in the teaching model. They have a dedicated administration, teachers and staff they serve not just the student but their family. Virtual Academy High School is a safe, nurturing, and communal space.

Such a wonderful school. Great caring teachers with more one on one due small class sizes. My son was behind due to previous medical issues & not only could he catch up but still do actual work when he was home sick. To top it off my daughter is an A student that is able to be herself without ridicule or made to conform to others. Every child signs an agreement with the whole class that they will not tolerate bullying, name calling, physical violence, ect. Each child fouls each other when an issue arises & together with the teacher it is quickly resolved. No major issues have ever arose as they are not tolerated. If u aren't there to learn u get sent home. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful school & their great staff. Keep up the great work CCCS. See u next year!

As a California public charter school it is our mission to provide high quality curriculum, instructional support, and community and social resources to families and students in our community. We do this by: Emphasizing standards-based curriculum; Providing parents and guardians instructional guidance and support; Identifying student instructional needs and providing individualized education plans; Assessing student learning style, modality and achievement; and Providing access to district/social/community services and support as well as mentoring opportunities. It is our belief that all students can learn and achieve if we first ensure that basic needs and support systems are in place and then we work to create multiple pathways to meet the divergent needs of our student population.
