I have never been so disrespected by a principal and staff in my life- I voiced my opinions several time to both the principal and the administration office. Begged for my child to be allowed to transfer to another in district school- was flat out denied and that moving would be the only way. Apparently MISD values their staff over their children, because this principal won principal of the year. We elected to pay to get our kids out of this sorry district!!!! This school doesn't care about their students- they only care about their staff! Children at PTY have to pay for the "luxury" to wear blue jeans on Friday- that is supposed to go towards funding events, that you have to pay for as well. If you value your children's education and can afford it- try other area school districts. Surrounding schools are not only academically superior, but parents are actually valued!
