This school has done so many great new things. Their state report card shows MAJOR improvements the last two years. They have increased graduation rates, academic performance, and discipline and communication are so much better. Not to mention all the remodeling. I couldn't believe how good the building looked when I attended a recent function. I heard it was remodeled but wow!

Marshall has done so many things in the last 2 years to move forward. They completed k-2 school, bought an existing building for preschool and are building a new 3-5 school. They have caring teachers who want the children to do well. The board hired a new Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent just over a year ago. The first year there they with the help of community members and businesses were able to pass a school levy to build the new 3rd-5th grade building and do repairs to the older facilities. I believe test score rose in the first year and will continue to rise. They have an excellent Career Center that is preparing students to be future business owners, health care providers, auto mechanics and computer technology. I see a bright future in the Marshall School System.

If looking for a new community for your family then keep looking this one is not it! This district has had many integrity issues involving administrators over the last several years, poor communication, lack of teamwork with parents, and sadly not putting best interest of students first. The best quality would be the handful of outstanding teachers that do care about students needs.
