    We moved to Mars Area School District two years ago and could not be happier with the Special Education Teachers. They are truly a professional team that are dedicated, caring and results orientated. They focus on positive outcomes for each individual student. This is possible under the direction and leadership of the building principal.

    Since we have moved to the district I have watched my daughter digress in her education. This is our make or break year with the school district. If I don't see any improvement, we will be looking (currently researching) different school districts. I'm more disappointed with the district than impressed.

    I am happy someone is having a good experience. We have had a terrible run with two kids passing through this school. We finally left the district all together. The principal is a nice man, but he is lacking in leadership skills. There are some good teachers, but there are also some really bad ones who engage in corporal punishment and yelling to control the children. Also, the cafeteria is very chaotic the lunch ladies are mean and horrible to the children. My kids learned absolutely nothing there and are very behind at their new school. Luckily they are in private school and the they have an academic coach helping them get back on track. This was just last year so I am not certain how much the place has changed. It was a hard decision for us to leave the district because we love the community. It is unfortunate that the school is not on par with some of the other districts. Do your homework before settling on this school district.

    This school is great. The principal is very engaging and great with the students. The teachers really care about the students.
