Wow, just pause for a moment to read these reviews. Terrible grammar and the majority are expressing a very narrow scope. My grandaughter has been here two years and is struggling in math and reading. When my daughter expressed her concern over the struggles, the teacher told her " that's ok, there are many adults who cannot spell". Are you serious? A child should not struggle to no avail without assistance. Self image and confidence are battered and this is a terrible start. I am moving my family from this area so that my grandchildren can achieve their potential, without having to be "labeled" which by the way is not acceptable. Bullying is a sign of weakness and those who hold positions of authority and fail to act or hold those accountable with such behavior are the most cuplable. Shame on this school for making small town midwestern towns look really bad!

I have 2 children that attend Markesan. My older child has been struggling with school since K and I have consistently asked teachers and other staff about my concerns with her learning and all I can say is that I am sick and tired of hearing " oh I will look into it" and never hearing anything back from anyone. So frustrating.... Apparently a parents concern for her child means nothing!

My child has gone to Markesan since 2nd grade and second grade and third grade was great then in fourth grade my child started to be bullied I talked to everyone with the school and until I spoke to the parent myself it did not get resolved. 5th grade is just as bad maybe worse and the school does nothing for bullying. This school seems to very labeled and if your not in sports they couldnt give two craps less. I also went to Markesan school K through12 and it has gotten worse. Just my opinion and this does not mean my son or I have a problem referring to the lady on May 14th it means the school has an issue

I have three kids in this school and my kids love the teachers and staff! Everyone is so nice and will go the extra mile to help my children out. Awesome office staff that knows each kid by name and will work with you on just about anything!! A++++
