I am the mother of three children, two are in the elementary and one in the high school. I have been involved with the Marion school district for 12 yrs. The staff at both schools work very hard to give children a very good education. When we have had a problem it has been dealt with in a very professional manor. School leadership is very strong and the teachers are outstanding. The Marion school district is always looking for ways to improve its self. We are very satisfied with Marion school district .

District teachers/administrators receive an excellent review. They have wonderful dedication and organization. Our daughters graduated from MHS and received structure and guidance for each of them to become successful professionals. Our sincere gratitude to all, through the years.

I too am having problems with this school, but it isn't with their g/t program but with their special needs program... My son has a learning disability and can you believe they do absolutely nothing to help him?! I have heard from other families that when your learning disabled children get to High School they make them go all the way to Appleton to Fox Valley Tech because they just can't handle anything but "normal". I agree that there is a lack of teacher communication to parents. I just missed an important school even for my 6 year old daughter because they never sent home a time just assumed she would remember when it is. There isn't enough homework, and when there is its stuff my kids did 2-3 grades ago at another school. I will be sending my kids to private school next year to keep them out of this district. And the principal... Needs an attitude adjustment. RUDE

This school has a very poor curriculum. The staff is rude. I could go on and on about the bads for this school. If you child is gifted and talented- don't come here! I am so frustrated with this school I am ready to homeschool my children. My children are falling behind because of the lack of homework and the lack of individualized attention. The receptionist at this school is very rude and hard to deal with. The principal is hard to contact. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS SCHOOL
