Absolutely an amazing school! They do the best that they can for everyone. Mr. Fletcher is amazing with the children, he knows them by name, and things they like. Every single person on the staff has a genuine interest in the children, parents and the well being and safety of the school. I sent my child here out of district based on high praises I had heard from family and friends. My family has not been disappointed. I feel secure knowing that there are many caring eyes on my child during the day. They take child safety and well being into high consideration. This is especially true during the pandemic. I have yet to witness a child go without a meal to go, even if it is not needed. Every teacher my child has had, has helped progress in learning areas that I thought were too difficult to master. They have a wonderful program to help children exemplify being a wildcat, and doing things the wildcats way! They are very serious about being kind to one another, and the staff sets the example! Children appear friendly towards each other, and happy to have friends along the way. The school is very open and honest with communication to parents, and expectations are clearly set. Fantastic school!

Both of my children attended Lincoln school, my son for pre-k through 5th, & my daughter from 1st-5th. They both had truly wonderful teachers. The faculty & staff seem to go out of their way to get to know the students. While my kids attended there, if there was a family in crisis, everyone rallied around. It's a great family atmosphere. My kids both received excellent educations as well. The reading support staff is excellent. There is a Kiwanis K-Kid program there to teach citizenship that is wonderful. So thankful my kids attended Lincoln!

The school is a nice school for the most part. Mr. Fletcher has always been nice to us and so has the office. However, they do not send home permission slips anytime the kids go anywhere, but you have to sign one for them to watch a PG13 movie, and some teachers don't even check the homework. Half the things that are sent home are wrong. My child brought home a test one day and every question was wrong, but he received a 100%. Even when the teacher corrects his mistakes, she's wrong. The school called today and told me he was sick, so I told the nurse I would pick him up after his dad got out of the bathroom, he could have been washing his hands for all I know, but he was sent home with the slip stating that and showed it around for the teacher to sign. Joke or not how old are these people that they have to make fun of someone being in the bathroom. She just needs to grow up. This year I'm very disappointed in the school system other than the principal and the office staff.

The school is great. Nice location and great staff. And to answer the question of the gentleman involving the no-so-good phone call, the majority of the staff are amazing. My son is in third grade now and my husband I have loved it so far. Unfortunately, I will have to agree with you involving Ms Dalinda, in the front office at the school. She is the only person, thus far, that I would have to say is a very unpleasant individual at Lincoln School. I have seen her in the halls a few times as well, and she will give very mean looks to kids if they walk in front of her or cross her path while she's walking. Rest assured, you are not the only one. Many parents have come to this conclusion. Tracy is amazing. She works next to her daily. We are happy that she is there. She is a positive and friendly person to deal with if/when you need office assistance. Please don't be discouraged to check out Lincoln School. She is the only negative aspect in that school. I really wish they would maybe have a talk with her or something. She does cause a rather bad atmosphere at that school. But, again, Lincoln School and it's faculty, for the most part, have a lot to offer.

I called the school recently and spoke with someone by the name of 'Dalinda.' She came off as very condescending and rude. The tone of her voice had such agitation in it. My wife, our 3 yr old son, and I were curious about the grade schools in Marion because we thought about possibly moving further south where I was offered a job at a new firm. We wanted a nice school for our son to start Pre-K, and so-on. Simple questions seemed difficult for her to answer. It seemed as if I were interrupting her and she was annoyed with my call. She was very frustrating to deal with. Is that how all the faculty are at that school? I hope not. If so, we will definitely be marking off Lincoln School off for our little boy. Someone like that should not be working with the public. She is not a positive representative of Lincoln Elementary School. Thank you.

I love Lincoln School. I went there from kindergarten through 5th grade. In all my six years at this wonderful school, I had rarely been bullied. When I did, the person being mean to me wouldn't do it again after punishment from a teacher. During my six years here I learned so much and excelled in all my classes. I felt that I was in safe hands. Because of Lincoln I've achieved things I never thought I could. I Love you Lincoln!
