Not a pick of there are other options. Choose a different school. I was warned and didn't listen. Now I get it.

Both my kids currently attends this school. Both kids are 4.0 GPA students. My 8th grader is in their AVID’s program, which prepares students for college. Very happy with the Teachers at this school. Able to email teachers and other staff members when need be. Most students at this school are good this (well, my kids friends are).

The new principal is a fresh of breath air. At the open house, she asked for feedback and actually implemented our ideas! I love the expanded options for foreign language and tech ed. They still have discipline problems, but they continue to address them. My one complaint: the "Student of the Month" always features "improved" students, meaning that if you've always behaved yourself and always acted responsibly you'll never receive recognition.

this school straight up is awful. the people that go there live for DRAMA. if there isnt any somebody starts some imeadatly. do not send your child here. they will be harshly critizized. a girl left the school after her 2nd day because she was critized. most of the teachers do a very poor job of teaching. Only a few do a excellent job. Need help with homework you can ask but they hardly explain it. Some of the male teachers are very perverted. This school is a shame to society. The only way somebody will get by at this school is if you are overly pretty and rich. The principal hardly does any work sits around all day long and is only concerned about the needs of teachers. The math curriculum is at the level of a college student,the math teachers do not help you at all.
