I’m honestly disgusted by how the staff treats their students. They do not take any violence or bullying seriously and the staff decides who they want to believe based on how they favor certain students. There have been more fights at this school in a year than i had ever seen in any of my previous schools in total. Going to the counselors office was a dystopian experience considering she was going on her phone and checking snapchat notifications as i sat there bawling my eyes out. I had struggled my first year at this school and i tried to tolerate this behavior until i couldn’t anymore. My first year consisted of me constantly getting checked out of school because i couldn’t handle the decline in my mental health as i was getting picked apart by my peers.I was drove to a breaking point as my peers mocked me for my every move and the vice principal implied i was being dramatic and needed to comply. Since my experience with other students bullying me was on a psychological level it was pushed to the side and basically laughed at. I have already been struggling with constant issues in my personal life and going to school in an environment i felt was unsafe didn’t help in any way. I continued to have more self deprecating thoughts as i tried to persevere through these overlooked issues. If you are considering enrolling your children here, just stop. They’ll go through mental torture and hate their school life, especially if they already have an existing issue with school. I honestly think any good experience i got out of this school was the moment i could step out of the prison-like gates after the last bell rang. I dreaded walking into the school because i knew the relentless false rumors would never come to an end. I knew the moment i complained about my experience it wasn’t going to be taken seriously in any regard. I felt genuinely nauseous and associated this school with overwhelming anxiety and trauma every time i had to sit through a class. Save your kids by sending them to a different school if you truly care about them, please.

Daughter did great at EU. she was in all AP classes, had a great counselor that supported her in her academic career. She just graduated with a masters degree from UOP.

This is the best high school in Manteca. All of the teachers are caring, and the school has a lot of spirit. There are many clubs and programs, you just have to get involved.

This school was horrible. The office staff treats the students like they're garbage, the principle does absolutely nothing to solve conflicts, and most of the teachers are lazy and make learning such a boring experience. The staff favors certain students and basically this school is unfair and disgusting.

I had a great experience while at East Union. The programs are there for the students, they just need to be willing to take advantage of them. The school offers caring teachers that will push their students and prepare them well for college.

This is a great school best in the district. Newcomers to Manteca don't miss the oppurtunity to come to this school.
