  In 2022-2023 they were the very lowest in the state of Iowa for reading test scores. They continue to be in the lower range for the state. They seem to go through special education teachers frequently year after year, just since 2019 they've gone through three next year will be their fourth. They do not close reading gaps like required. They're one of the few schools in Iowa that refuse to do anything for dyslexia. If we were not stuck in this district my kids would not attended. Bullying is a common issue here. They have some really wonderful teachers and then some are very power hungry. I would not recommend this school. ...More Reviews

  If I could give this school 0 stars I would. Minority families that move here for work and have to place there kids in this school as a last resort, don't do it! Home schooling would be better than this. People think racism, discrimination and segregation don't exist.. they definitely do, especially on these school grounds. There is no real adult supervision to prevent altercations from happening DAILY and it seems like the staff takes great pride in disciplining a child of color. The adults are nasty mannered, rude, and disrespectful here and so are the children. IT'S 2022! The administration is dismissive, nothing is taken seriously until a situation escalates. I will make sure before I leave Delaware County EVERYBODY knows how HORRIBLE Lambert Elementary was to my child. I will let everyone know what issues my child experienced on a daily basis and how uncomfortable he feels in his own skin. He is bullied on a daily basis, he is a target. Kids throw food on my son, they pull him down by his hair at recess while "under adult supervision" and point out his skin color all day. I never have a peace of mind when he's on this campus.. and I never will! ...More Reviews
