We have done prek all the way through 12 and love this school. Teachers, administrators and staff really care the students and work hard to build a sense of community. They provide a rigorous curriculum while also focusing on the needs of “the whole child.” I appreciate the emphasis on service and pairing younger students with older students in “partner grades” to further build community and encourage being service-minded.

One of the most remarkable aspects of Cornerstone Christian School is its dedication to fostering teacher and student engagement. From the moment you step into the classrooms, it's evident that the educators here are passionate about creating a diverse learning environment where every student feels seen, heard, and encouraged to participate actively. Teachers go above and beyond to tailor their instruction to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student, ensuring that no one is left behind. Moreover, the emphasis on a Biblical worldview permeates every aspect of the school's curriculum and culture. It's not merely about teaching subjects; it's about instilling values and guiding students to view the world through faith. Whether it's through weekly chapel services, integration of Scripture into lessons, or thoughtful discussions on moral dilemmas, Cornerstone Christian School equips students with the knowledge and perspective to navigate life's challenges with grace and wisdom. But what truly sets Cornerstone Christian School apart is its unparalleled stakeholder and student engagement commitment. The school recognizes that education is a collaborative effort involving not just teachers and students but also parents, staff, and the broader community. From regular communication channels that keep parents informed about their child's progress to opportunities for families to participate in school events and initiatives actively, Cornerstone Christian School ensures that everyone feels like a valued member of the educational journey.

My brother went to cornerstone from 4-5th grade, and I went there from 6-7th grade. My brother was constantly bullied and he was the only boy in his class. The teachers are nice, but not well trained. We found that we learned very little, and our parents had us do real work at home bc we found that cornerstone education was not sufficient. My brother has a very hard time with writing and no extra help was given to him when asked for it, although they said they were, the "help" consisted of extra spelling tests. I found that my classmates were sent to this school because they could not succeed anywhere else and these teachers were the only ones who would give them good grades without reason. Generally a toxic environment, my parents greatly regret sending us there, would not recommend.

My child has attendend Cornerstone Christian School since Kindergarten and currently in first grade. I have found that staff and teachers invest in their kids, truly care for their students and want to see their students succeed in school and spiritual development. That caring and compassion also extends to the student’s family. Both teachers and staff have continually prayed for and with us thouought life’s challanges in the years we have been there. Cornerstone Christian School rose to the challange of adding additional COVID-19 protocols this year (2020-2021) so that the students could attend class in person which I find has had a profound effect on continued social development for my child as well as a better learning expierence altogether.

My son is 4 years old and is enrolled in kindergarten prep. This was his first social experience outside of the home. They handle the in-person learning and COVID restrictions well, I feel safe. The classroom environment is welcoming, spacious, equipped with the right toys. I see the difference with him at home, school is doing wonders for him and he talks about the bible stories or songs he's learned, as well as the science experiments or letters they learned that week. I like how I get a weekly email from his teacher so I know what material they went over that week and what they plan to do next in the curriculum. They use an app that I can use to communicate with his teacher, I love it she posts photos of him or if I have a concern or she has a concern she uses it to communicate. He's done great with his letter characters, which taught him the lower case letters. They all have names to teach him the sound each one makes. Like Bubba bear (b) makes the buh sound. They are going to begin uppercase letters now. I like how they do parent teacher conferences and the report cards, they break down his development into different topics/sections and track his progress on each. First semester's conference we discovered his fine motor skills were weak, so we started working on coloring to fill in (he was scribbling) and cutting with scissors to follow the lines better. His teacher went from helping him make his letter character crafts to my son being able to make them himself. He's made great progress and the teachers and staff are professional and care and handle everything well. I am very happy here. The office is also easy to reach by phone and also by their app in terms of handling calling him out of school. Very convenient and well set up.

My daughter is a senior this year at Cornerstone Christian school, and she has been attending school since kindergarten. It has been a blessing, the powerful positive impact the school has made into her life made her the kind, happy and smart girl she is right now. My son is in third grade and our plan is to have him follow her path at Conerstone. Best investment we ever made.

Both our children have been at Cornerstone since Kindergarten and have loved going to school here. I've been impressed with the strong educational programs, social and spiritual development opportunities and a faculty and staff that truly care about their students' success and working with parents to help students achieve that success.

I have had all 4 of my children at CCS and our family has been blessed by the care, support, and values of the staff and leadership at Cornerstone. Coming from a homeschool background, I prayed that we would find a school that could help my kids to transition smoothly into a school setting and maintain the Christian values and education that I firmly believe in. We found that at CCS. I would recommend CCS to anyone looking for a private Christian school that is supportive of the students and families, strives to maintain academic excellence, and values the continual development of Christian character in the staff and student body.

My husband and I chose CCS for our children over 17 years ago, and it has been a wise investment in our children's future! We appreciate the rigorous academic program presented from a Biblical worldview. Small class sizes and partnership between the home and school are added benefits. We highly recommend CCS to any family who is looking for these kinds of goals for their children.

CCS has provided a fabulous education for my children. The teachers are loving and compassionate. The curriculum is challenging and Biblically based. It is reassuring to know the same values we teach at home are also be taught at school. The environment at CCS is safe and encouraging. CCS has become like family to us.

Cornerstone combines the importance of academic success and character development to give students the best education possible. Our children excelled and thrived at Cornerstone because of the dedicated faculty and staff, the high academic standards and small class sizes. Two of our children have since graduated from Cornerstone and received great scholarships to their college of choice. They were both extremely well prepared for the academic rigors of college. Our youngest is now a high schooler at Cornerstone and is excelling academically and has formed great friendships. We highly recommend Cornerstone Christian School.

We are so happy to have our son attend Cornerstone. We are regularly reminded of the impact a Christian environment has on our son’s educational experience. The entire staff is focused on incorporating a Christian perspective throughout all experiences. In addition to the academic element, he is also learning about Christian character, leadership, and friendship. The administration and teachers really know the students and are equipping them for all aspects of life.

I have two children that attend school here and will be sending my third when he comes of age. The teachers are excellent and the method of teaching is fantastic. I’m so pleased that we have made this decision for our children’s future. Worth every penny!!!

My daughter has been going to Cornerstone since she was 3 years old. She is now 9 and I am so grateful to the teachers and staff for what they do for our children. They partner with the parents to ensure our children get the best education. They offer small class sizes and a tight knit community that feels like family.

It is my son's first year at the school, but so far we have been very pleased. The school strongly encourages partnerships between the teachers and parents, which leads to better outcomes. I also value the ability of the school to recognize and encourage abilities. The smaller class sizes allow them to spend individual time with students to help them master weaker areas or challenge stronger ones. The leadership is responsive to feedback and strives to provide an affordable Christian education.

We moved to CT from outside of the United states and were really worried that our kids would have a difficult time adjusting to life in the states. However, its been a great year so far for my kids. Cornerstone teachers have helped to love them and guide them from day one and both my kids have loved their experience there.
