My three adult children went through the BioTech Program. All received their excellent education from OPHS. All went to college. They are all professionals. One is a movie compositor that went to the prestigious Savanah College of Arts and Design (SCAD). Her name is listed with several movies. Another graduated as a biomedical engineer and became of doctor. He did his fellowship at the Harvard Medical School Beth Israel in Boston. The other received a master's degree in Naval Architecture and works for a top Cruise Company. I attribute their success to the excellent programs at OPHS. They all earned Dean list grades in college.I greatly appreciate the excellent teaching of Osbourn Park High School!

OPHS is one of the best high schools in NOVA and Virginia. Their various Specialty Programs definitely prepare their students for college and their careers. All three of our children attended OP and then VT. Not only did they get an outstanding education but they also enjoyed their high school years at OP. There are many extracurricular activities to get involved in from sports teams to numerous clubs. Once a Jacket, Always a Jacket!

Excellent school. Prepared my children very well for College. All were on the Dean's list at college. One went to SCAD, one to VCU, and one to URI. One works in the movie industry, one is a doctor, and one is a Naval Architect. All suggested their own career. Excellent guidance counselors. Set-up my son a David Taylor Research Lab.Suggest starting AP classes in 10 grade and become enrolled in the specialty programs.

Great schools sucks. This is one of the top schools in the county and Nationally. I rank it better than Battlefield and Patriot because it's more diverse economically and ethnically. It has programs no other schools has. Forget test scores, it means nothing. Fairfax county schools are not superior. We moved from Fairfax to Prince William and are far happier and so are our kids.

OPHS has a very involved principal and staff. My daughter transferred here from Patriot specifically for the Biotech Specialty Program. She is challenged and LOVES it! Osbourn Park Ranks in top 3% on America's Most Challenging High School List

The Biotech, Nursing, Project Lead the Way, and Pre-Governor's School programs make this school a top choice for the whole county. Many students travel across the county to attend OP to take advantage of its wonderful programs. The teachers and staff are amazing. This school is definitely a 10/10.

The student body is friendly and well mannered. The faculty are genuine and caring. There are myriads of clubs available and the robotics program is awesome.

Two of our daughters graduated from Osbourn Park and it's a terrific school. I'm not sure why it's not rated higher (7/10) on this site as it ranks #589 out of 22,000 high schools in America (Top 3%)

Both of my sons graduated from OPHS. They participated in AP courses, sports, theater, GEMS (gifted & talented) etc. The staff and teachers are outstanding. They go above and beyond for their students. We moved to the area specifically for the school and were never disappointed. I highly recommend OPHS.

All of our children graduated from this school and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience there. Great teachers who are invested in the kids' education and them personally. Best High School in the area.

As a whole, this is a great school to send your kids too. I believe it's the best high school in PWC. The administration and staff and professional and there is a lot of parent involvement. We are very happy to be a part of OP.

Osbourn Park High School is large but effective. This school has something for everyone. Each student can find a pathway to succeed. We also believe in the leadership at OPHS; Principal Beech is fair, just and compassionate. I have 1 son that graduated 2013 and 1 son on his way in and we are looking forward to the excitement that awaits him.

When it comes to the principal of OP and administration at PWCS forget it. The Superintendant will NOT deal with ANY student issue he will send you to the Associate Superintendant of High Schools who will not do a thing for you or your student. If it is wrong... too bad, we made a mistake regarding your kid...oh well, they didn't follow policy.....the policy was a mistake. He has an answer for everything but nothing to help your student. I think they must practice their speeches together. Power play on all their parts because they can but they do NOTHING for the students. Love it when the Principal knows he is in the wrong and basically tell you he calls the shots!! The Associate Superintendent of High Schools says "you can talk to whoever you want, its a free country" but will not help a student.

As a parent of two kids at O.P., I am happy with the school MOST of the time. Someone else mentioned the bad kids get away with things and I have to agree to some extent. Though both of my teenagers, when in trouble, definitely had consequences. They also both have stories of other kids that just don't get in trouble. Overall I feel the teachers are sincere and try very hard to help the troubled kids as well as the average or above average student. I have been very impressed by the teachers in fact because of how hard they try. The school is doing something right, test scores beat the average in VA consistently. They have been nationally awarded too! In Prince William County, this is some of the best schooling a kid can get if you ask me. Coming from Fairfax, we researched alot and narrowed it down to Osbourn Park, nothing else. My kids struggle at school, they are not perfect, but this school is doing everything in their power to help my kids succeed and for that I am thankful.

OP has one of the finest teaching staff and administrative team in Northern Virginia. As a parent of 3 daughters, we did considerable research before moving to Prince William County from Fairfax County -primarily because of our concerns over schools. We could not be happier with our decision! Our oldest daughter is beginning her Senior Year 2012-2013 at VT on the Dean's List. Our middle daughter has just been accepted at JMU and our youngest just completed her Freshman Year at OP. The students are well prepared to succeed in college and learned many valuable life lessons while in high school. They had opportunities to travel, play sports, volunteer, join clubs...good balance of school and social life for teens without the overwhelming pressure of some of the other top Virginia schools. This is a NATIONAL Award Winning school - parents should be very proud of their students and school. Fantastic inspiring teachers and administrative staff. Go Jackets!!
