    We've had a good experience with Elk Run in the 6 years that my daughter has attended. We have been impressed with all but one of her teachers - and there was nothing wrong there, she just didn't stand out as much as the others. The administration seems to be pretty responsive to inquiries and concerns.

    There are some great teachers at this school and some not so great teachers. However it is all overshadowed by the horrible principal at Elk Run. She makes it seem like the biggest inconvenience to her when your child is having a problem with another student and she needs to be involved. When you call to talk to her on the phone all she says is she will take care of it and hangs up on you. I have overheard numerous parents talk to her during school singing activities or parent teacher conferences where they want to have sit down with not only her but the superintendent of Granite School District. I have two kids that go here and I am transferring them out of the school because it is so bad and the experience with this principal has been a joke.
